Car has a master cylinder and servo booster from the a 1965 Mustang. Also a modern 4 barrel holley carb which replaced the 1953 4 barrel holley, hence the late type air filter.

If it is a 53 Lincoln shouldn't have a flat head motor?
Hi Lincoln was first Ford group model to receive the new OHV Y block engine in 52, Ford and Mercury didn't get Y blocks until 1954 Regards
