My mom had ordered this bike for me as a Christmas present, she had plan for it to come on Saturday when I'm at my dads so that I wouldn't know about it. The bike came early and I found the box at the door yesterday. Now the box is in my living room and she won't let me touch it until Christmas. :(
@TheLoneSkater All the big names make entry level bikes and high end bikes. As long as you pick one with full chromoly frame, fork and bars, you will have a great bike.. I almost bought the Cult Devotion instead of the Sunday.. It's a sick bike👍👍
J&R Gaming I'm pretty sure both are on the outside.. I will double check for you when I'm near my bike, but normally the washers don't go on the inside👍
@EPHONIC Yes, I still have the bike. I have had no issues with it. I did put a freecoaster wheel on it and different handle bars, but there was nothing wrong with stock bars or the cassette wheel. Yes, 21" tt.
@EPHONIC I had to re learn how to fakie. Getting out of fakie was really hard to get the hang of because you don't use pedal pressure. You gotta use momentum. However, I definitely prefer coaster over cassette
@EPHONIC Strange. The older Elstran came with a freecoaster. That's why I don't own one. I didn't think I wanted a coaster, and without being able to test ride, I bought the Arteaga instead
I know I'm a little late and the Bike was probably in stock when you got it but can you give me the site you picked it up off of looking for the Erik Beltran complete and wanted to know if this bike is a solid Choice love the vid😁
@MilkySilky I bought it from 3Ride.com. I think the bike you're looking at has a freecoaster. I don't know much about them myself, but the reviews I read were all positive.. This bike Is okay. Check out my 6 month review. I don't like the raw finish.
@@thebikehippie6562 You do get used to it. I hadn't ridden bmx since the 80s. Obviously free coasters didn't exist then, but didn't take too long to get used to it on my Soundwave. They make fakies easier for sure.
@Vic707b Yeah, I probably would have.. It's just very hilly here and I was concerned climbing hills would be a pain.. I wish I had a local shop that sells bmx so I could give one a try
@Low_n_slo I don't know where you live, but every little scratch on mine has turned rusty coloured. I probably wouldn't buy raw frame again, although my old bike didn't do this, so maybe Sunday's clear coat is weak, I don't know. That red sure looks sick, if it had a cassette, that would have been my choice 👍
@@thebikehippie6562 what alternative can i use if i don’t find that ? i’m in texas just purchased my first sunday and wanna really take care of it. i know some friends that didn’t put that on their bike and i just wanna put it to be safe lol
@Parker Tills The crank started creaking after 1st few rides so I had to take it apart and put thread lock on the bolts. I made a video on how to do that, it's not hard. I also swapped the grips and pedals, but that was just for personal preference 👍
bike hippie, there a reason you havnt tried the 24 inch yet? curiois as a man nearing his 40s, i rode bmx for years and im thinking on a new one but cant decide... 20 or 24

Looks so nice 👌 great choice!
@Ryan Grimes Thanks bro 👊
Sick set up bro!!
@Captain Neo Thank you 👊

Is cult a good brand and do their parts last long

Thanks for the unboxing video. Still have the bike? How do you like it? Is it a 21” top tube length?

0:08 Ever wish you can turn back time and say something different? 😂😂
Wondering why u sanded the handle bars ?
@Emir Hrustanovic If you don't, the paint will chip off causing them to eventually slip.. Always when you least expect it 👍

2 days for my Soundwave, I am very excited
@Insert Name Waiting for a new bike is the best... Well, new bike day is the best, but waiting is exciting
@@thebikehippie6562 Yeah I've been waiting 2 weeks after saving up for about 6 months.
@Insert Name Even better!!
Nice I’m going to get the free coaster one
@Kazzo Awesome, I like that red, I just don't think I could put up with the slack in the freecoaster.
The Bike Hippie yeah I ride street so might as well try it out

@FireDemon Yes👍👍
@@thebikehippie6562 I’m ordering the ex signature tomorrow. Haven’t decided if I want the raw or red. I prefer the 20.75”” tt so we shall see

what lube do you use for seat post / pedals
@Mf Chris I use Motomaster white lithium grease. Name brand doesn't matter. I only use motomaster because I bought it at Canadian tire

@Mf Chris Your local auto parts store will sell it.. It's just white lithium grease. Just ask at the parts counter👍
Is it the sunday scout?
@godShukZ Nope, it the EX Julian Arteaga
Is that the Primer one of the Blueprint one?
@Hehki...Nope
This one is a way better bike
blueprint?
@Daily Fall Guys Shop.. Nope

@Thomas K Modern Bmx with a 21 inch top tube and 20 inch wheels is plenty big enough and perfect for freestyle. 24 inch wheels are more for cruising 👍
Where did you order your bike from was suppose to recieve this bike 3 weeks ago from danscomp
@alex alvarez 3Ride.com. Mine was not on time
Very cool bike! How tall are those bars?
@wroman77 Bars are 9"
