Not that it matters, but I live in a train town and as I was watching a train was going through at the same time. Funny to me. Loved the video very helpful.

First time Hibiscus grower (one plant at the moment, till spring when I can find more 🙃). Enjoyed this short video, will be helpful when it’s time to upsize. I will be taking notes of the mix used, I like how you have this neatly in a trash container all ready to go, thinking it would be helpful for other plants I have attempted to grow as well! May I ask what method was used to label the containers, love it!

How are the hibiscus doing in the pots and what zone are you in?

The hibiscus are doing well, Holy Grail has been blooming since the end of May. We grow in Zone 9a on the Mississippi Gulf coast

Should the hibiscus go back to just stalks over the winter? I bought a beautiful double bloom hibiscus at Bellingrath Gardens a year ago, and planted it in a big pot. It bloomed all the way to November, then all the leaves fell off. Should it be starting to bud now, or do I need to cut the stems back? I didn't want to do that in Feb for fear of a freeze, but it looks as though the danger of that has passed.

Susan, it's still too early to prune the dead wood off hibiscus. When I see the first new growth popping out, that's when I prune

Hi, great video! I'm in a state that has harsh winters. Will a hardy hibiscus survive winter in a pot?

How do u kill the ants on the roots

My go-to for fire ant control is to drench the root ball with spinosad, 4 TBS/gallon water. Captain Jack's Dead Bug Brew is a favorite product from Bonide, bonide.com/product/captain-jacks-dbb-conc/#/

You could improve the quality of your videos quite a bit by getting some help with your audio. Great content and camera work just the audio needs help.
