    Never regretted a single dollar I donated to Yang. Such an inspiring individual. Wish him or someone like him could be president someday.

    I'm so glad I stumbled onto this video, it really flew by. Since the end of the campaigns there have been so few interviews of Andrew for his own opinions. I love his podcast and hearing what his interviewees think and believe but it was really nice to have a follow up of his presidential campaign in this format. Thank you ASU+GSV summit!

    How about as an independent why we don't need the Forward party to move forward? Geez. I am not Democrat or Republican, but this freaking third party throws a wrench at the worse time. Are you willing to put democracy on the line by gambling with voters? Are you that desperate for attention you take the whole system down? I think this is more harm than good and as a gay black man who is independent, that's concerning. You will have many skeptics because you're pushing for a party at a time America wants to make it right. I strongly believe these third parties are basically taking votes from a flawed system but never learn and end up creating the biggest flaw during an election year. Go home, Save your money. Spend it on reparations or something because until you realize that "his story" nor history is on your side, you only make this a hysterical flop. I can appreciate the effort, but the timing is the worse and you're only adding fuel to the fire in a society already burning. Do you really want to make our lives a living hell by distracting? Did you consider how mainstream media will chew you up and spit you out? Yeah, not good. Good day. 👍🏽
    P.S. good luck reaching 2k voters... I mean viewers. Geez. Still don't see the problem despite my facetious comment? Well, you have your opinion and I have mine, but with facts not foolish ideas supporting.

      While I don’t disagree with your main point, but creating a 3rd party is really the only way to check the existing 2-party system. There really isn’t any way to dissuade Christian nationalism, nor the woke/victimhood’s that we need to focus on what we can fix and let the extremes of the pair of antithesis eat their own young!

    Came here to learn more about the forward party because I think we need a third party system. Watched the first five minutes so far... not too impressed. Yang says he sat around with his rich chummy entrepreneurs about automating away millions of jobs. Proud of himself for being right and he and his crowd did eliminate millions of Americans' jobs. Then makes fun of them for being mad about it and voting Trump? Yes, I get that Trump is in no way shape or form their savior, but maybe it would be better to fix a problem you foresee creating while you are creating the problem would be a better political leader (but worse entrepreneur) than just going ahead and creating the problem and saying "oh look, I was right, aren't I clever?"
    We do need a third party but maybe a handful of self-aggrandizing silicon valley techies who will just throw a bunch of crap out the door quickly and try to iterate their way out of it aren't the solution

      All the jobs picking cotton got automated away and no one had to "fix" that.

    • @froodtube

      @@nonyadamnbusiness9887 I'm all for automation, its actually my livelihood. Just saying having an elected leader whose mindset is "Well this will be cool, it will screw over 100's of millions of people, but they'll figure it out" isn't a great option. Especially if his plan is just to call them a bunch of idiots after he screws them over. Let him continue having success disrupting in the private sector.

    • @nonyadamnbusiness9887
      @nonyadamnbusiness9887 Год назад

      @@froodtube What you call 'disruption" used to be called "progress". Nothing is what the government should do in 99% of cases. Politicians will suck up to voters though and do something popular and damn all the unintended consequences. The best example of this would be politicians turning a six month market price correction in 1929 into a decade long worldwide economic depression.

    • @froodtube
      @froodtube Год назад

      @@nonyadamnbusiness9887 Disruption is usually a prerequisite to progress and not a bad thing at all. It is usually done by the private sector because government is terrible at it.
      Government has to allow the private sector to foster progress, but also has to have the goal of improving the lives of its citizens (which ultimately progress will do in the long run).
      If you put a disruptor in charge of the government who says "This will be progress, but is going to screw over millions" and who goes ahead and does it anyway you are going to end up with both progress, and the millions who got screwed over. If the leaders only response to that is "hey cool, I was right! We really did screw them over! And now those idiots are mad and complaining about it?" It is not going to be an effective government.
