Boney Island treehouse in Sherman Oaks facing teardown

The Boney Island treehouse may be torn down after more than two decades following numerous complaints from neighbors and restrictions from the city. Gordon Tokumatsu reports for the NBC4 News on April 25, 2024.

This is all so sad! I'm a neighbor, and my daughter grew up with this Halloween fun for 17 years! We enjoyed every second of it. Not sure at all to whom it could be a problem ones a year really, it even at all?! Come on people, have some fun for God's sake!

@@slyley5 Exactly! My friend came here especially to see this, because they wanted to built similar tree house. They did! I don't understand how tree house could be a problem for a neighbor?!

This is ridiculous as I have built an 8 x 10 shed in my backyard which we already on the house no mortgage we owe no one on this and the city still gives me problems I thought we lived in America it's my yard my house is paid for why can I not build what I want to on my yard
