That just means other pre-recorded shows aren't airing; it's just the live programs. Plus, people in those areas have multiple ways of getting more accurate weather information, so I wouldn't think the weather channel is their primary go-to.

When I watch the Weather Channel, I can't help but imagine myself on there. Giving the weather reports. Describing the stroms and warnings.. I've always wanted to be a Meteorlogist (sorry if spelled incorrectly) and this show give me the exact infomation I would love to have. Unlike the other weather shows that play for a few minutes, The Weather Channel is consistent.

jade88sc I remember going to Pilger on the way to Omaha for my Grandmas surgery. To see trucks flattened and farm implements twisted and mangled, and then to see debris piles where houses use to be, and my mom told me her friend said there was a church in a certain place and all you saw was the dirt that was underneath it. I was fortunate to have been in Colorado that day with my dad because I am terrified of tornadoes. I still feel sorry for the people of Pilger and the families affected by the tornadoes.

What they're calling "Flournoy" is the village of Thurston, as distinct from Thurston County. "Blackbird" is actually Macy. "Dawes" is Rosalie. I have no idea where they're getting their maps.

+Cody Fields Part of the information that is imperative to knowing where the thing is heading IS the radar. They can tell you a lot more about what the storm is going to do than they can by just looking at the clouds, which can be massively deceptive. ... It's not nearly as interesting to look at, for sure, but it's vital.

Funny how you can't play 30 seconds of a movie for critique on youtube, but you can post an entire weather channel broadcast, commercials and all.

I hate our 'local' channels b/c they push so called 'climate doom' yet refuse to acknowledge insane passenger jet pollution - calling it high cloudiness.
