Then, they literally cry at the first hint of adversity.

      wantafanta01 piracy would be defined as capture of the vessel its cargo or the crew. This is considered harassment and the whalers have no law enforcement authority until someone attempts to board their vessel. Since there is also no law enforcement officials on board the vessel any aggressive action by the Japanese that would harm the crew would unlawful use of force. Essentially they’re allowed to harm their business all they want as long as they don’t harm the crew or attempt to board or take command of the ship

    • @PHUCKyoutube689
      @PHUCKyoutube689 3 года назад

      @@tracemitchell7358 they have been classified as pirates by numerous countries including the US. They are pirates. They are not operating under any authority other then self appointed. They fly under a dutch flag with the understanding they are just going to observe and record the whalers. Any time they take action against a Japanese whaler they are doing that outside of the protection of the dutch flag. If you want to stop whaling, instead of spending millions on cool toys buy Japanese air time. Work with corporations in Japan that can also benifit from your desired goals. Work with them on a PR campaign to change the consumers mind about whales. That will end the demand eliminating a need for supply. I guess it's not as cool as playing in the ocean all day but I can guarantee it will get the results they seek.

    A rouge wave ripped the pontoons off. Because the ship is floundering the Irwin, Barker, and the Shonan Maru are escorting the vessel back to port. The Bardot is in danger of capsizing so they need to get there and get everyone off except the captain, the first mate, and the chief engineer. Although Nisshin Maru gave orders to Shonan Maru to kill the Bardot crew they can't because the vessel is floundering and if they ram them the vessel will sink and the Bardot's crew will die. Hours before when the Bardot hit the wave Shonan Maru radioed them on channel 16 and asked if they needed assistance the captain told them to standby and Shonan Maru and the Irwin fallowed them back to port. The Bardot is now repaired but she is not allowed on the ocean Sea Shepherd has to charter rides on Yacht Express to ferry her to campaigns and she is not allowed in Antarctica because another rouge wave will sink her so she is restricted to parallel 40 North and can not cross it north or south or she falls in danger of sinking. This is why Sea Shepherd no longer uses the Bardot for patrols they only use it for conservation now.
