- Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious was the second and final season of Pussycat Dolls Present that premiered on February 18, 2008 on The CW, and aired for a total of eight weeks.
The show was filmed in the summer of 2007, and followed aspiring female singers/dancers competed in order to claim their spots to become the group "Girlicious". Girlicious is the creation of Robin Antin, creator of The Pussycat Dolls, who in the first season was searching for the next doll, but was now searching for an entirely new pop group by the name Girlicious. Girlicious, unlike the Pussycat Dolls, was a more urbanized, all female trio. This is the format for the second season of the Pussycat Dolls Present series, focusing mostly on female dancers/singers, looking for fame in the music industry. This season features 15 young women competing for the three slots open. The contestants are: Alexis Pelekanos, Carrie Jones, Cassandra Porter, Charlotte Benesch, Charlye Nichols, Chrystina Sayers, Ilisa Juried, Jamie Lee Ruiz, Jenna Artzer, Keisha Henry, Kristin McCallum-Vlaze, Megan Dupre, Natalie Mejia, Nichole Cordova and Tiffanie Anderson.
The album was released on August 12, 2008 and their first single, "Like Me" premiered on April 23 right after the finale of the series. The same day, "Stupid Shit" was released. A third season of Pussycat Dolls Present was planned, but then the show was officially cancelled due to its low ratings.
it's so crazy watching this at 27.. i was totally obsessed with these girls, like this show and the group after pretty much made me who i was as a teenager. i still love natalie to this day 😂❤️

I’m 34 and it absolutely had an impact to me and I still love Natalie too. She literally fit what I expected the group to be PERFECTLY.
I remember watching this at 14-15 years old lol now being almost 30 it brings back so much nostalgia girlicious was huge in Canada I remember buying their cd when it came out I loved girlicious glad to see the members are doing good now

Natalie and Chrystina have both turned to god I heard and I don't know about Nichole but I thought she'd be the one to get the solo career, funny how things turn out I guess.

She didn’t have to be rude about it though. I don’t feel comfortable sharing my shoes either, but I wouldn’t have made it a big argument. She could have easy said that she doesn’t like sharing her shoes, but she was making it very clear that she didn’t like Charlotte.
Yea and I mean she was right. It is a competition. Like if you need a hair tie or to borrow a brush I got you.....but shoes gross. I'm sorry but I only share shoes with like my mom (we are close to same size so she has me stretch them out abit for her and I only borrow fancy ones if I need). It's kinda gross to allow others to borrow shoes especially boots and especially for a high stakes thing like that. Like girl I don't want you sweating all up in my heels. Eww

ty for uploading this. I loved this series. I also agree with the 4 final members ..... it's a shame they didn't get proper promotion. The album was so good. Deserved better.
I wish I did not watch this when I was so young, it fucked up my self esteem and I compared myself so unhealthily. My life has reflected these struggles among many others, but I must admit it is really exciting to watch this again for the first time in over 10 years !
I did the same. I compered myself (or my looks) with them all the time. It wasn't a good gime for girls to grow up. Womens value laid in how mutch "sex sells" & what men would like to see.. they are looking for girls who does everything they are told without ever question anything. That's a huge red flag. Robins behaviour is a HUGE red flag

It's interesting that I'm the very first episode she Robin mentions the group having a more urban vibe but that's allegedly the reason Tiffany was let go from the group for being "too urban." The group become more pop and lost its appeal in my opinion.

@@06lilweezy1991Yes, that definitely tops my list of painful things, but you get something awesome from having a baby. Four day migraines and pancreatitis attacks are worse than labour and surgery in my experience, because you get nothing from them. My dad and an ex bf who both had high pain thresholds said having their big toe nail removed was worse than gallbladder and heart attack, which are also painful. One little toe!😊
I can’t believe she was back up within a day! Four of my friends have had that happen and took over a week to recover. They all involved surgery to remove everything that didn’t belong after the rupture. How did she recover from it so quickly?? Don’t they do the surgery in the US? Maybe because it’s so expensive down there? Do they just hope for the best like they seem to do with miscarriages (we usually get a proper D&C after a miscarriage here, and we are anesthetized for it)? Scary stuff.
I wish charlotte made it through so I could watch her and Natalie beef lol. I think charlotte might’ve made it if she didn’t roll her eyes at mikey

I've said this since the show premiered - they did Natalie dirty by constantly saying/implying that Natalie isn't a great singer but good performer. I love Natalie's voice and she sounds great. She IS a great performer, but her voice is incredible too.

Yep, she made the group, but because of her appeal, not her singing talent.
And the girls she gave a hard time for throughout the show, they have done ok for themselves.
She has had a tragic life since then. Some people may have star quality and what it takes to make it, but if they can't handle it and all the trappings, then it falls apart. I hope that she can turn it all around. She had a start again in 2020 and then covid hit.

How natalie knew charlotte was her ONLY competition that early in the competittion that was true stardom. She knew she was making the band. Natalie should have been a pussycat doll she just has that energy. Will never get over Charlye not making the cut for the band Girlicious IDST.

Charlye kind of talked herself out of it by refusing to at least try with Natalie and Chrystina plus towards the end I think she made reference to the trashy image that she wasn't completely on board with which is odd because why audition for a group like PCD if you don't want to have that image 🤔

Fun fact: I auditioned for this season and made it through 2 days in Chicago. Such a surreal experience really. Had to rush to Charlotte Russe and F21 after day 1 to buy “sassier” clothes. Wish there was more footage of the original auditions!

so i definitely do remember this series now from watching it whenever it first aired 💜 i thought at first that this was a season that i had maybe missed on since it says Season Two (2) of #Girlicious and i thought that the First season was titled with just being about the actual #PussycatDolls band 🤩 i absolutely Love Christina and Tiffany though! im still interested in the two of them + i do think that the final 4 who are chosen at the end of this season were definitely the Best/Right picks to make up the new group of #girlicious ❤️😍 i just wish that they would have been promoted and done alot better success wise bc they have a really good vibe + look + moves + sound and Tbh i believe that #Girlicious could have been/done better than even the original #PussycatDolls IF #Girlicious had been given the proper time, attention and work!
Natalie getting jealous over charlotte yet natalie was the one asking her the questions. I think Natalie just wanted to be a little more like her or do some of the stuff she's done. Though, I agree with her for the shoes.
Yea I think nat was simply trying to like combine her style with Charlotte as she said they both are similar. Take the one who can dance and sing over the one who can sing and has troubles 1. With dancing 2. With emotion. I'm not saying Charlotte was naive or wrong or anything but you need a tough skin. Even just meeting someone and being in a large group you may have a dislike or anger at someone but you don't then go and blab to the whole group about that 1 person. Reason being if you do go farther all those girls know of they tell you anything or if they slightly offend you you'll tell everyone. Better to be silent, keep your head up an show em what cha got.

But as far as personality I like Chelsea way more and Chelsea is definitely prettier. And also she tried her best even though she wasn't a dancer, she is down to earth, good spirit, humble and bubbly. Sweet girl.

But I think Jenna has a slightly better voice even though their voice are kinda similar. But Chelsea knows how to control her voice better.

I know this is super old I love this show but if Charlye is 19 here and her dad passed away when she was 13, later on she says her dad passed away while on a college trip. The math isnt right if this was filmed in 2007 or 8 than shouldn't her father passed away this year not in 2003 ... Someone did some bad math either on the show or she did for the ratings... That's a bit low in my opinion.
