Thank you for talking about the bars and seat! I am 6"2' and they certainly don't make these bikes for us from the factory. I feel so jammed in factory configuration! Can't wait to get a new seat.
Thanks for watching! With this set up, the bike is massive, you will have plenty of room! From factory it is so low and close, the difference is massive!🤘
I'm 6'2", Pursuit owner. I live in Tasmania, Australia where the roads are very twisty, so I'm a bit disinclined to have an extended seat as it moves your weight away from the mid section of the bike which I would think isn't the best for handling in tight stuff. The other concern with an extended seat is then I need to have extended bars to cope with the extra reach. I'm open to opinions and other's experience with these extended seats though. 🇦🇺
@@Hipporider I go long distance (just back from 5,300miles to Sturgis) so opt for the space! Also pushed mid-rise bars as far forward as they go so still have a pretty aggressive stance. In the twisties go further back on boards, hence the boot burns on the Sawicki! 😂🤘
I am enjoying your content. Well done. I am in Perth and considering a Challenger after coming off a Rocket 3 GT as it will take a proper passenger. I am concerned i will get bored on solo rides so the performance bagger idea sounds appealing. I am 6’3’ as well so would love your feedback on the lift kit and how it affected your handling, I get the clearance benefits but is the higher CoG noticeable? Keep up the good work.
@@Nathan-mj1cy Thanks, appreciate that! I would love to ride a Rocket 3 to compare, I love the idea of them! The Challenger really was a game changer for me and reason I jumped from Harley tourers - at the time the performance handling was no comparison from the factory. I honestly have not noticed a change in the center/centre 😂 of gravity - biggest impact there still fuel levels! I do wonder how much my lowers/speakers highway bars added weight the lower front though, but they were on when I got the bike! I have ridden a pursuit and did notice that trunk weight for comparison! 🤘
@@dropbearmoto thanks for the feedback. The Rockets are special. There is really nothing to compare it to as far as torque goes. I just wish they would make another touring version. They point to the GT but I was running the Corbin dual seat and it was still only roomy enough for young kids/or underfed supermodels for any length of time and my kids are now adults and i am fresh out of supermodels! I am hoping the Challenger can still be enough to have some fun on solo rides and the red mist descends. HD have upped their game on their touring line this year but i want something a bit different.
@@dropbearmoto ive looked down at my leg and seen smoke rising on my kevlar lined denim jeans. Waterproof trousers get a few melted holes. I pretty much always keep my right foot up on the foot board when stopped, left foot down, which avoids most of this. 🇦🇺

You're really have it full upgrade it.
@@Pursuit_Rules a little! 😂The previous owner had done a ton of work to this one so the big money was already spent! More to come though! 🤘
You'll need some heat shields on those pipes, mate. They'll set your pants on fire. Ask me how I know! 😂🇦🇺
@@Hipporider 😂 Oh yeah, been there and go back regularly! Had to stop and pour water on my boots on Tail of the Dragon! 🤘🇦🇺
