One thing I like about Felix. He never seemed to have a personal issue with Wreck it Ralph. He was sympathetic when Ralph wanted to attend and tried to give him a chance. He also doesn't seem to be a snob like the others.
He's bad, and that's good. He will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no-one he'd rather be than him. Or, as Zangief summed it up, he's a bad guy but not a bad guy.
Vanellope's "glitch" is innate. She keeps it even after the game was reset at the end, so she is actually designed like that. It's essentially a special power. All of the racers are at least implied to have one, but we rarely get to see them (Candlehead lighting cherry bombs being a notable exceptions). Instead of thinking of it as a "glitch", as glitch implies error, "blinking" is a more proper term for what she is doing. Blinking is near-instantaneous, reflexive, but very short-range teleporting.
Ooooh yes, finally a vid on Ralph. He's always been one of my favorite Disney protags just cause of how different he is. Also if you're going to continue talking about heroes, I would love to see an analysis on Spear from Primal
Side note, but I really wish Disney gave us more musicals with (human) male leads: we only got 3, and those were in the 90s--not counting films where the lead didn't/hardly sang, ie Tarzan, The Sword in the Stone, and The Jungle Book.
@@bambusll3155 Yeah, they did him dirty in the sequel. From a humble, bumbling yet kind-hearted Everyman to a whiny, insufferable, clingy, obsessive, insecure, selfish, dishonest, judgemental, cowardly, idiotic man baby with severe abandonment issues. So yeah, Ralph WAS the perfect protagonist up until after the first movie.
It's interesting to see you cover a hero instead of a villain. If you're taking requests, I'd like to see an analysis of Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians.
buddy the movie is about accepting what you can and can't change. You can't change other people's opinions or about your own history but you can change your current and future self and your worldview. Infact the whole final act with the Cy-bugs happened because Ralph did a bad thing in the first place cause he tried to change the way people view him but with a bit of hindsight even if everything worked he wouldn't have gotten the out come he wanted if anything he would have been called out for going turbo reinforcing their view of him

Because Ralph only wanted acceptance from those around him not glory like Turbo, that is what seperates a hero and a villain.

too bad ralph breaks the internet decided to make him an obsessive yandere best fried but without the romance or murder part. that did not fit him
Ssssh.. We don't talk about that. There's only one movie.
@@ToonOfficialYT exactly

Just don't watch the sequel XD
he presented him self very differently there 😆
Never watch any sequel

@Thesomewhateducatedguy-bi2qn Just so long as it's an improvement over it's predecessor like Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
@Thesomewhateducatedguy-bi2qn Nope, there are good sequals, albiet not super common.
Wreck-It Ralph is one of the greatest Disney gems of all time!
When I watched the movie it was a great movie. I just wish the sequel wasn’t a meme movie
Wreck It Ralph is also the first movie I've ever watched where the protagonist is a villain wanting to be a good guy.
8:20 the glitch was caused by king candy's medaling she just learned how to control it by the 3rd act meaning she can do it now
Thank you for listening to me, can you still do turbo please as well as hopper from a bugs life
I've done one on Turbo before! Though arguably, it wasn't my best video. It's on my channel if you want to check it out!
@@ToonOfficialYTno I meant turbo the snail
I’m sorry for the confusion
I am well aware of the “best plot twist villain” video.
I hope this video gets attention like a few of the others, overall they're clean and pretty fun to listen to
The sequel doesn’t exist. It’s just a bad dream made by people who wrote between their lines

Which makes the character assassination of Ralph in the sequel all the more frustrating
what sequal there's only one movie and that was a collective fever dream everyone had
#gentle giant
Most Pixar characters have layers, and not just in the form of twist villains.
Sadly The Movie Tries Say That Ralph Is Wrong For Trying To Be Good, Even Though Ralph Did Nothing Wrong
