2007 Sonata - July 4, 2023 - Replace Trunk Lift Supports

I have a 2007 Hyundai Sonata. The lift supports on the trunk were worn out and not supporting the trunk lid. I ordered two new ones on Amazon. This video shows me removing the old and installing the new.

I have recently bought my car same as yours and the trunk is so heavy to lift and I thought it was normal but now I see it and thank you for the video it’s so helpful ❤️

You're welcome. Thanks for the nice comment. I never thought about it also. My wife usually drives this car and puts groceries in the trunk. I was helping her unload the bags one day and the trunk fell down hard and almost hit her. That is when I realized it wasn't normal.
