all u had to do after you completed your sentence instead of waiting for a guard to give you a dialogue, just walk out thru the police station, then it would trigger a different dialogue saying that you've completed your sentence and now is a free man.

Lmfao this is what I did to beat the game. Took like 45 minutes of walking in and out of the yard->workshop lifting weights. You can also set the population in settings to 0 and make it easier to not get camped by guards🤜🤛
i'm pretty sure you cant get out of prison in debt. i think if you have negative money in one of the hard times they send you back to prison because you are "cheap labour" or something, probably something similar is happening here but nothing is happening for some reason. if you get out of debt then they will ask you to go.
