This has helped alot. I have a much better idea on how to set my lines up to maximize flow. It really gets fun later on when so many goods are requested for large cities. Having to optimize the tracks between major cities and using multiple warehouses(most has been 6 in major cities). Then buying industries to close them and start new businesses to optimize the supporting cities to supply the major cities.
Glad the video was helpful. Have you tried a 3 or 4 city cluster? Done properly you get 3 or 4 major cities with 9 to 12 manufactured goods shared between them.
Hey Adekyn I'd love to see a video on the new warehouse options. Thanks for doing these videos, they are really adding to the enjoyment of the game for me.
Hi Jennifer. Great to hear that the videos add to your enjoyment of the game. That's the whole point of the channel. What new warehouse options are you referring to?
Today's update "Placing warehouses near cities or rural businesses will open up new possibilities in transport. As warehouses will now get supplied by surrounded farms and businesses, players will have more possibilities to get those supplies to other cities."
Jennifer, I looked into the update you talked about. These changes are in the beta test release, so they aren't available to the public. I plan to do a video on them when version 1.5 is released to the public.
Great stuff mate! I am new to the game and i am still learning about tracks and signals, but this video sure explained a lot. Had no clue you could set the lines and preferred cargo by clicking the details button. Thank you.
Thank you for your sharing. I just play for 3 days, and scratching for manuals yet to be found. haha. Never thought there are micro-managements on those railway point to set which track the train are going into. So these games is about micromanagement. The track and signal setting are close to real one. And now I realize that I have been spoiled by sidmeiers railroads game without ever thinking about signal and track management. I wish the game allowed some pause in game time while micromanaging
The good news is that once you set the lines up correctly you don't have to look at them again. So there really isn't a lot of active micro-management, just some details to get right the first time.
And I just found another way to optimize 4 track route to double track. Using merge line from track 1 station to second track, track 4 to track 3 and then add a diamond crossing in front of the merge line in track 2 n 3. Well, I just got in the game. Now i see it in different perpsective. I think i will explore more. Thanks.
Gday Henry. I used to play sidmeiers railroads game years ago. Now that you mentioned it, I don't remember seeing signals in that game. One of the versions had the Australian map, which I liked, being an Aussie.
I don’t understand why this game doesn’t use either a tower to route trains to the open track or have an automatic interlocking with the CTC system. What you have to do is so cumbersome, though I completely understand what you are doing. But while you are trying to manage your operations, having to setup trainsets like this is too time consuming. Now, automatic interlocking was not available in the 1800s, but you had switchmen and towers available. So train routing was still accomplished. I am new to this game. I am used to playing Railroad Tycoon. You do a very good job explaining this game. You probably are a Class 1 Engineer. I won’t hold that against you. 🙂 Keep up the good work.
There are automated signaling stations that were added to the game that basically do what you say. They have built-in towers and complex signals so any incoming train can use any available platform.
my god im only 5 mins into the video and I already learned something that just blew my mind.... I did not know you could use ctrl when placing signals for it to automatically place signals on the whole track.... I've been doing that manually this whole time, I literally freaked when I saw the game auto place them all. ::facepalm:: I have like 108 hours on this game too lol.
Good to see you back on railway empire Adekyn . Interesting video . I’m just getting to grips with the 1.4 update with crossovers as it only came to the Xbox the other week . It’s put a different thought process on playing the game .
Hi Adekyn! I realy hopped that You would connect that logs and wheat to Grand rapids. You would then see that the computer way is TERRIBLE! I learned this the hard way. I wanted to be smart and keep all the computer tracks and use multiple trains on the computer tracks. It was a disaster! I used all the different platforms in the station, but before the station computer creates a BIG bottleneck. All of my trains were stuck becouse they cound not reach their platforms. Even here with just 2 platforms we could see trains waiting a little bit. If You would add 3 wheat trains to track 3 and 2 log trains to track 4, there would be a BIG traffic JAM. Believe You me! - as The General likes to say :) Cheers!
Totally agree. The AI way is a terrible design. We ended up with 6 city to city plus 2 logs plus 3 wheat going to Toledo and running smoothly. If we ran 11 trains through that single track choke point in Grand Rapids it would be a disaster. That's why I still think that liquidating the computer makes sense in most cases when you take one over with the obvious exception of keeping stations if you are running Trainiac and all your stations increase in cost. In that case, keep his setup then delete the track and build your own. And remember, "I always tell the truth, even when I'm lying."
Just got this game.. I like the track laying technicalities... I'm a little surprised there isn't a "simple" AI: "is track used? YES/NO" "If YES, is there another available track? YES/NO" kind of system. This is simply.. "Is track busy? YES/NO" "If YES, wait" Having to define the track per line could be useful if it was a supplement to the AI than can go to an empty available track. Sure, at the beginning of a game, setting those lines manually might sound simple.. but once you start having so many stations, tracks, lines and trains.... it's just an overcomplication that shouldn't be there. At first, setting lines the way you did works well... then when trains break down, go slower, etc.. you start encountering them piling up and waiting. It's a little bit of a mess I find.
There are stations that do auto-signaling and dynamically assign platforms as trains approach. These did not exist when this video was made. To play at a top level you will need to understand platform assignments because the super-stations (as I call them) aren't always the best solution.
@@Adekyn100 Yes, I've been going through quite a few videos to figure out how the signaling works. I did watch a video about those signaling stations after commenting here.. I am going through alot of trial and error gameplay to get used to the management. I DO enjoy micro-management; I can just see myself forgetting to set a few tracks by mistake and having a hard job tracking tracking those down.
I agree, having to manually tell each train they have to go to specific track platforms is just plain dumb, there are 4 tracks open and they all want to go to track 1 when the other 3 are open. I was manually setting my tracks like how the train stations with signaling control have it set up thinking the trains would do the same thing not realizing that the normal stations don't function the same. It is a pretty big oversight on the devs to not have that function that you described.
@@larrythebomb5001 I know it's just a game, but after a few hours of play, the limitations become somewhat discouraging. No matter how much you plan and try to micro, there is always something that happens or distracts, and then sometime later, it's plain frustrating to try and untangle the spaghetti.
Thanks, glad you found it helpful. Don't forget there are also auto-signaling stations (I call them super stations in the videos) that automatically route your train to the next available platform at the expense of control over which platform is used.
Thank you, and great video! Too bad this cant be done "in the background" as well. I would have liked to have seen the difference between your method and AI method, running all 4 tracks, and observing the difference in traffic flow. I will have to set up my own little experiment :).
what about the statons with the signals? trains still use the shortest route, but its impossible for player to set the track they use, because they are supposed to do it themselves with all the mergers n stuff, the key is to not to use the stations with signals already built in?
Will freight or passengers automatically switch stations to move themselves closer to a demand point? For example, if I have lumber in area A that is needed in area C, can I run trains from A to B and from B to C and count on the logs to switch trains? Or do I need trains running from every station to every other station in order to fulfill a cities demands?
No freight moves out of a city station except what is produced in that city. If you want to move logs to C you need a line from a source (logging camp or warehouse storing logs) to C.
@@Adekyn100 I assume the same is true for passengers? A passengers wishing to go to C will not switch trains in B? I believe the "Tycoon" games worked that way, made networks less spidery and more streamlined...
I played Railroad Tycoon Platinum and realize that Tycoon and Empire are two entirely different games made by different developers, but are almost identical in play style. In Tycoon if you plant your station that deletes homes in a city, you would loose that population, which would reduce your passenger and mail loads. I just got Railroad Empire and am not sure if the Railroad Empire developers put this mechanic in to the game but It just kills me every time I see you stick a station smack dab in the middle of a city.
Hi Adekyn. Did you ever cover the changes to this when they brought in stations “with signalling?” Old topic I know but I recently came back to this game and I’m enjoying your videos.
Great video. Explains it all... But what about this...? I've laid 4 tracks between two "Large Stations with Signaling Control", placed signals as described, set the trains up manually, but the trains only use track 1 and 2, although they do use all 4 platforms at both stations evenly. So they're still waiting on each other, cause they won't use track 3 and 4. Any idea why that is...? Still that neurotic "shortest route"...? PS. Is there a "Clone Track" button, as there is a "Clone Train" button...? That would be so nice.. :-)
If you want some of the trains to use the second set of double track you will need to set waypoints to force them over there. So split your trains into two routes and have one of the routes with waypoints between A and B and between B and A to force them to use the second set of tracks. They will always use the shortest route unless told otherwise.
@@Adekyn100 Good idea... Had not thought of that... :-) Tx Would be so nice if a train could figure out the empty track for itself... When you got a lot of trains running, you get a lot of conflicts, (bottlenecks) no matter how much you manually assign platforms... Kinda ruins the game for me.
Hi Carl. My pleasure. If they put all the how-tos in the tutorial there would be no purpose for my channel. I'm not sure what I would do with all the free time.
It's a damn shame that this game doesn't have a mechanism to select a free platform. Railroad Tycoon, that is like 20 years old, has it... Still you do get the thumbs up for showing defiency of this game :p
@@Adekyn100 Thank you sir! I had figured that out looking around a bit. I'm in the tutorial first campaign and there is no straightforward way of setting this up since the station upgrade doesn't provide the option. I'll have to try to delete the startstation to replace it with a 2 track signal station. This might be blasphemy to you but there is another pretty nice big railroad game of which I forgot the name but want to try that one. It's recent and has the same starting (USA - desert area (I think)...) I'll have to search through the steam shop:-)
I have found it much easier to put the signals in the full length of the track then add the supply station on top of a pair of them somewhere in the middle.
If this has already been covered in the comments, I apologize. I'm playing on XBox One and I can't for the life of me figure out how to select a specific track for a locomotive to use. The tracks are listed as such, but I can't select a specific one. Gameplay controls seem to be very consolidated for console and it's frustrating.
Yes, it just means end of the line. All traffic enters and end on the same end of the station. It could be useful for someplace like San Francisco on the West Coast map; might fit better than other stations.
Hey Adekyn. Thanks for sharing the best techniques and optimizations. I've become a better player due to you. I want to learn about another thing in game - how do we manage stations and tracks which we grow with time? Cuz not always we can build a large station. If I upgrade a station, usually my setup blocks new tracks 3 and 4. How do we manage this?
Thanks. Glad to hear the videos have helped you. Have you watched the Rapid Expansion Strategy video? ruclips.net/video/bo74VYIpdf8/видео.html It talks about how to set up small stations and expand them as you go. Also, keep in mind that any industries you own could block station expansion. So keep that in mind if you place an industry or purchase an existing one.
Question: When you placed signals, it looked like you did something that automatically placed signals all along the track evenly spaced right after the 5 minute mark of the video, how did you do this? Really appreciate the video as it is taking away a lot of the frustration I was having!
On a PC make sure your signals are pointing in the right direction, then hit Control - Shift - Left Click. Console has something similar but I don't know what that is.
Adekyn, I was just watching an older video, so this question isn't really related to this video exactly. How do you decide which stations to have Maintenance Buildings in (assuming finances are no issue)? My concern with having them in cities, especially larger city hubs is that it will slow down every other train waiting to load and unload in cities. I've been thinking it might be better to focus on having them in resource stations so it effects fewer trains on the whole. What about Warehouses? Or, just have them in every single station if money isn't an issue, to disperse the Maintenance as much as possible?
Hi Sean. The first option is to not have maintenance sheds at all. You can successfully play the missions and scenarios and never set up maintenance. I have a number of videos where I complete a scenario and never set up maintenance. You just have to be able to tolerate little yellow triangles all over the edges of your screen as trains break down. You basically run your trains to the breaking point then fix them in the field. I have commented that the penalty you pay for this sloppiness is not great enough. If you have the patience to do it and you have a proper economy (meaning you can't spend the money as fast as you make it) then you can set up maintenance at every station (city, rural, and warehouse). That spreads the delays across the map. Earlier in the game, if you don't have the money and you want to have maintenance you can put it on every other city or any key city that has a lot of rural lines coming into it. Watch the Rapid Expansion Strategy video (ruclips.net/video/bo74VYIpdf8/видео.html) for some discussion of maintenance.
Yea I had come across your strategy of not worrying about Maintenance at least until later in the game. Generally I do get to the point where I've got dozens and dozens of trains all breaking down and I can't stand it any more. Funnily enough, after I posted this last night I got to your 2nd or 3rd video about Warehouses and you did suggest setting up Maintenance Buildings at Resource Stations rather than in Cities and Warehouses. As that was several months ago, do you still go by that philosophy or do you think having them in all Stations regardless of location would be better?
I think the best is to have maintenance on all stations so that the maintenance delays are spread out. At the least spread the maintenance to rural stations where possible.
The example you displayed at the other end of the line doesn't work either. The trains all wait for one track. If I specify a specific track, it works, otherwise the trains all use one track, the last one added to the matrix.
Actually that's the point of the video. Unless you use auto-signal stations which automatically spread the traffic evenly across platforms, you need to specify which track to use in order to spread the traffic flow.
@@Adekyn100 ok - I don't understand what an auto-signal station is then. I put in 2 stations, used the x pattern on the tracks on both ends, put in a side track between the 2 x patterns and made them one way tracks. When I look at the signalling directions, it all matches your example, but yet again, it doesn't utilize both tracks.
Hey Adekyn, I don't know if you still play this game but I just started doing the scenarios and man are they hard! I am doing the USA starting on the East coast. I'm not an expert like you but I'm pretty good. Can you do a series on the scenarios? The timelines are SO tight.
Is this before stations with signals built into them? I picked the game up on the Epic Store for free so I don't have a clue what was added in patches and updates before I acquired the game. Those stations the ai will choose a empty platform to unload or load at without input from you. Also they will choose a empty platform to pass though if its not the station they stop at.
This was made before the stations with signaling control were added to the game. I don't always use the signaling control stations so controlling platforms and methods for queueing are definitely needed for the bulk of my gameplay.
This didn't work for me. I used the AI style and the only track the trains would use would be the last one I added. I even pointed to the legs of the AI design. The last leg installed was the only leg that showed any utilization. Any idea?
Hi Leon. First, don't use the AI style. You get terrible throughput and your train lines will jam up all over the place. I was just showing that as an example of another way to link the main line to all four platforms at the station.
My question seems so silly I almost didn't post it. When I hover over a track in the station, no stats some up like they do in your videos. Did I inadvertently turn off something in my settings to disable that?
@Adekyn That's basically it. I run dedicated lines for all my stops and stations. So far it's been good and I've managed to finish all of the campaign with no signals. Due to the costs of warehouses I generally just upgrade all my stations and they have eight lines (if you include each end). I only add a resource once the town demands it. If I am connecting two large cities I generally run two dedicated lines and I find that pretty much satisfies all the requirements. I do assign them to specific tracks though so they are are never waiting. I did have to run the civil war scenario a few times to complete it, but in the end it worked. I enjoy your videos and have learned a lot from watching them , thanks for all your hard work in making them. Cheers.
I don't understand: why do they choose between 1 and 2 but they never choose 3 or 4? You say they choose the shortest way but that would mean they only use 1 and not 2?
You are welcome. I think game developers now depend upon RUclipsrs to create a lot of the supporting material, tutorials, and example play that one might assume would be included in the game. Personally I'm thankful for this. It gives my little channel a reason to exist.
On PC hold down shift + ctrl + left click. It automatically spaces directional signals working backwards from the last place it can put one. Make sure you have the signals pointed in the right direction before left clicking.
It’s bogus that the games’ “optimization” makes you manually select platforms to utilize. If you’ve created your line properly, trains should use whichever platform is available.
How does the AI build perfect looking leads? It seems to be literally impossible. The game won't let you build a ladder lead, only reverse ladders, which look like shit, but the AI builds a perfect ladder lead at every single station.
Sorry, don't fully understand the question. Are you asking when terminal stations were introduced into Railway Empire? Or are you trying to find terminal stations in the video?
@@Adekyn100 sry, yes trying to find in the video if you explain how to best utilize Terminal stations in the game. I want to try them but want to kno the best way to organize the routes alongside my existing main routes.
There really aren't any differences between terminal stations and regular stations except for one obvious one - don't use a terminal station if you need to go out the back. :)
@@Adekyn100 thanks mate.. I also noticed some of my farms or rural businesses are not releasing goods to my freight trains assigned, resulting in certain cities to decline in rating/population... any reason for some of my cities to neglect goods in demand? For example in France, my Marsielle city has a demand for poultry , and I've assigned 4 freight trains directly from poultry breeders to Marsielle...but Marseille has a low rating and judging by the metrics, is also not accepting any more poultry (yet the demand for poultry is evident.) The same happened in Nice (a nearby city) , I switched the commodity from poultry to fruit (for juicing production), but Nice refuses to take the raw produce I have routed to it via freight trains. Shouldn't each town be accepting all product in demand? I haven't had this issue before . Many thanks for your insight.
Hu, thanks. There is a 20 year old game out named Transport Tycoon where trains are clever enough to pick their own plattform...but hey..thats from 1997 or so...and now its 2020 and computers become stupid and programmers lazy and...whatever. Trains should use every open plattform if available, not just plattform 2.
@@Adekyn100 thanks. Yeah I found out later. Still the trains block them self if for example you give them a 4 lane refill/repair station, cause they only use lane 1 and 2 because that's the shortest way.. (shorter than to switch to the lane 3...)..anyway..
I'm also new to this game and frustrating is not the game itself, the game isn't deep enough for that. Frustrating are the horrible controls and menu. The game will not tell me how to edit trains, add new stations, change the cargo - there is no button for that, at all. I don't want to create a new line for every little thing. The game tips tell me THAT i can do things, but not HOW. After 60min in the first mission i had to close the game before i smashed my screen.
This should be 100% automatic, there's no fun in this tedious process and you can't even optimized it properly for stations that are pass-through. This just made me quit the game.
By the time you did the video, you could have fixed the optimizer so that it always treats each platform as equidistant. I'm disappointed you make people build so much track to fix a simple problem (and it still doesn't treat the platforms as equal - it can't be fixed). It's pretty ridiculous.
This video changed my life. I had no idea platforms can be defined. Thanks a lot!

Your detailed explanation is great!
Glad it was helpful!
Glad to have been of service.
Good to see you back on railway empire Adekyn . Interesting video . I’m just getting to grips with the 1.4 update with crossovers as it only came to the Xbox the other week . It’s put a different thought process on playing the game .
I am late to this game but this and other videos explaining the potential of the game is a plus.
Thanks. Enjoy.
YES/NO" "If YES, wait"
Having to define the track per line could be useful if it was a supplement to the AI than can go to an empty available track.
Great stuff, that will solve a lot of problems I was having! Now, all I have to do is cope with the terrain!!
Thanks, glad you found it helpful. Don't forget there are also auto-signaling stations (I call them super stations in the videos) that automatically route your train to the next available platform at the expense of control over which platform is used.
@@Adekyn100 Thanks for the heads up.
:This was super helpful, answered the question I had perfectly
Excellent. Glad you found the video helpful.
Wow! Great video. You are gifted man!
Thanks. Glad you liked it.
I'm fairly certain nobody thought the first example would work, nor that trains would use the other platform.
Thank you, and great video! Too bad this cant be done "in the background" as well. I would have liked to have seen the difference between your method and AI method, running all 4 tracks, and observing the difference in traffic flow. I will have to set up my own little experiment :).

Nani? Multi-track Dorifuto????
what about the statons with the signals? trains still use the shortest route, but its impossible for player to set the track they use, because they are supposed to do it themselves with all the mergers n stuff, the key is to not to use the stations with signals already built in?
You've been a great help. Thanks!
As they say at Chick Filet, "My pleasure."
Eureka! Thanks a million.
Glad you liked the video. Enjoy.
Placing a station does not destroy your city. Railway Empire is indeed a different game.

Hi Adekyn. Did you ever cover the changes to this when they brought in stations “with signalling?” Old topic I know but I recently came back to this game and I’m enjoying your videos.
this is the most insane way to make money...I like it...I'll give it a try tonight...thanks a lot @Adekyn :)
I'm not sure what you mean.
Best vid about this game ever
Thanks.
I just got this game. Thanks for the info.
My pleasure. Enjoy the game. It's a good one.
Best video helped me alot!
Glad it was helpful.
great stuff.. thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video.
:-) Tx
Would be so nice if a train could figure out the empty track for itself... When you got a lot of trains running, you get a lot of conflicts, (bottlenecks) no matter how much you manually assign platforms... Kinda ruins the game for me.
How to break the competitors put 2 stations in every city you connect to and they stay out.
True.
thanks - jeez it would be nice if a $50 game put that in the tutorial, because pretty quickly all my systems got into "gridlock"! ;-)
Hi Carl. My pleasure. If they put all the how-tos in the tutorial there would be no purpose for my channel. I'm not sure what I would do with all the free time.
Do you have a list of your videos by date . Your help makes this game very interesting .

Thank you so much!
You're welcome!
It's a damn shame that this game doesn't have a mechanism to select a free platform. Railroad Tycoon, that is like 20 years old, has it...
Still you do get the thumbs up for showing defiency of this game :p
It does have what they call auto-signal stations which will pick a free platform.
Yes, that's the technique I later adopted.
Can someone who plays on a console help Chris?
What is the terminal station for? Just end of the line? Or does it have specific use?
Yes, it just means end of the line. All traffic enters and end on the same end of the station. It could be useful for someplace like San Francisco on the West Coast map; might fit better than other stations.
Hey Adekyn. Thanks for sharing the best techniques and optimizations. I've become a better player due to you.
I want to learn about another thing in game - how do we manage stations and tracks which we grow with time? Cuz not always we can build a large station. If I upgrade a station, usually my setup blocks new tracks 3 and 4. How do we manage this?
Thanks. Glad to hear the videos have helped you. Have you watched the Rapid Expansion Strategy video? ruclips.net/video/bo74VYIpdf8/видео.html
It talks about how to set up small stations and expand them as you go. Also, keep in mind that any industries you own could block station expansion. So keep that in mind if you place an industry or purchase an existing one.
Adekyn Alright. That's what I wanted to find. Thanks a lot. 😄
Thanks for this, really clear, finally clicking with me. I freaking love this game. One question, do you have to set the direction of a stop signal?
You have to make sure it is pointing in the right direction, if that is what you mean.
Adekyn Thanks for the speedy reply. Got it on Switch, it is an absolute joy to play something like this on the move.
Great help tyvm
My pleasure.
great video
Thanks!
@@leonfredericks5328 If you could post a picture of your setup on Steam and send me a link, I will take a look and try to figure out the problem.

Do these concepts also apply to RE2? I guess I am one of these people who keep getting the "trains are getting stuck in the station" message.
Yes, but RE2 is typically not quite so bad on the overloaded station front because you need less trains to get the job done.
Thank you :)
My pleasure.
at 16:15 how do you make the tracks overlap with each other?? Nevermind found one of your other vids
:)
I dont understand the video how do you connect two tracks
Hi A!, Can you add more detail to the question? What do you mean by "connect two tracks"?
Adekyn when you have one track how can you connect it so there merged
My question seems so silly I almost didn't post it. When I hover over a track in the station, no stats some up like they do in your videos. Did I inadvertently turn off something in my settings to disable that?
Go into Options and turn on Tool Tips.
@@Adekyn100 Thank you! I somehow had that turned off. Already a game changer.

I know this is an old video but i wonder how did he put the signals automatically on the line without doing it himself 4:51 in the video
On a PC hold down control while left clicking.
I don’t use any signals, I’d be curious how you run it with no signals, cheers.
I'm not sure what you mean and how to play this game without signals unless you are running single train lines which I do not recommend.
Sorry. Not sure I can answer your question.
Well the in game tutorial is just fucking lackluster tbh.
Thank you.
You are welcome. I think game developers now depend upon RUclipsrs to create a lot of the supporting material, tutorials, and example play that one might assume would be included in the game. Personally I'm thankful for this. It gives my little channel a reason to exist.
Around 4:55 it appear you’re almost coping the signals down the double line?
How did you do this?
On PC hold down shift + ctrl + left click. It automatically spaces directional signals working backwards from the last place it can put one. Make sure you have the signals pointed in the right direction before left clicking.
Also you recorded this at 360, making it very difficult to see the track changes you are discussing.
Use your settings and pick 1080p HD. Is that better?
Weird. When I first started watching only 360 showed, now I can see 1080. Whew!!!
Just bought the game, trying to figure out how to build everything
You will get it. Enjoy.
No need to delete a train. You can edit it even after it was placed.
Sorry. I don't understand your comment. Please elaborate.
New sub yay 🎉🎉
Thanks for subbing!
so basically connect all rails to a single direction and select the track you want the train to go wow
Pretty much.
It’s bogus that the games’ “optimization” makes you manually select platforms to utilize. If you’ve created your line properly, trains should use whichever platform is available.
Updates after this video was made allowed for platforms that automatically assigned gates to approaching trains.
Can you explain how to join stations??
Sorry for the late reply. I don't exactly know what you mean by "join stations".
@@Adekyn100 Tutorial tells me I need to join the 2 stations before they can be used.

How does the AI build perfect looking leads? It seems to be literally impossible. The game won't let you build a ladder lead, only reverse ladders, which look like shit, but the AI builds a perfect ladder lead at every single station.
No idea.
I’m trying too it’s fucking impossible the ai is cheating

Timestamp for terminal stations?
Sorry, don't fully understand the question. Are you asking when terminal stations were introduced into Railway Empire? Or are you trying to find terminal stations in the video?
@@Adekyn100 sry, yes trying to find in the video if you explain how to best utilize Terminal stations in the game. I want to try them but want to kno the best way to organize the routes alongside my existing main routes.

The game has stations which dynamically assign stations to incoming trains based on station load. They were added after this video was made.
@@Adekyn100 thanks. Yeah I found out later. Still the trains block them self if for example you give them a 4 lane refill/repair station, cause they only use lane 1 and 2 because that's the shortest way.. (shorter than to switch to the lane 3...)..anyway..
😍😍😍😍😍
Glad you enjoyed the video.
Very very useful
I'm also new to this game and frustrating is not the game itself, the game isn't deep enough for that. Frustrating are the horrible controls and menu. The game will not tell me how to edit trains, add new stations, change the cargo - there is no button for that, at all. I don't want to create a new line for every little thing. The game tips tell me THAT i can do things, but not HOW. After 60min in the first mission i had to close the game before i smashed my screen.
Oh well, every game isn't for every player.
@@Adekyn100 No problem, i already refunded the game.
That's stupid. Why can it not pick the first free platform?
That functionality comes later.
This should be 100% automatic, there's no fun in this tedious process and you can't even optimized it properly for stations that are pass-through. This just made me quit the game.
There are stations that do this automatically.
By the time you did the video, you could have fixed the optimizer so that it always treats each platform as equidistant. I'm disappointed you make people build so much track to fix a simple problem (and it still doesn't treat the platforms as equal - it can't be fixed). It's pretty ridiculous.
I'm not sure how I would fix the optimizer. There are updates since this video that allocate platform usage automatically.
