Have carried a Surge every day for about 5 years, Love, Love, Love the Surge for EDC, Camping, and DIY! Belt carry in the pouch and I don't even notice it on the belt anymore.
Sorry to hear that it was stolen. Yes it's a great multitool, I sometimes worry ill lose mine or misplace it. I hope you're able to get another one soon 👍
I have the leatherman CORE for many years and i am thinking of getting another newer model to keep my older one as my retired tool. The core is still in top condition with no loose or broken part. I got interested with thhe surge because they say it's bigger . When i checked the core it's big too. No wonder i love using this all rounder tool! I have no way to compare because i haven't got a chance to hold the surge. Are they of the same size category? Lastly which do you think is better, the bare silver or the blackened one?
The Core is a really awesome model. I believe they are in the same size category as they both measure similarly. But I would still recommend putting them next to each to compare not only size but also how they feel when gripping them. The blackened one is really nice looking, but I still prefer the bare silver. It's kinda hard to pick though with so many nice looking ones. 👍

It's great to hear that you find it useful as well. Thanks for the comment 👍
Great Review!! Thank you.
Thanks for watching 👍
Monday thru Saturday carry the Surge in a Tale Of Knives belt sheath. Sundays carry a Wave on a Tale of Knives belt sheath. Always ready that way!
Nice! Good choices 👌 👍
I just bought one for an edc. Wanted as many tools as I can carry with the two bit sleeves and this surge but damn! This thing is a chunky beast.
I agree it feels chunky, But it's a great tool. Thanks for sharing 👍
I EDC those on my belt , I don't even notice they're there till I need them. Very happy with them.
Same here, I really enjoy using it. Thanks for the comment 👍
It is substantial but once I get working I quickly forget that it’s on my hip (obviously until I need it).
I had a surge but it was stolen I miss having it itnwas so useful I used it more times than I thought I woukd have to save up and purchase another one

Have edc surge every working day for 3 years, edc a wave for 4 years before that - as a tradesman surge wins.
I have 2 surges plus the bit kits. The weight is negligible compared to the incredible utility of this tool.
I definitely have to get myself the bit kits. Thanks for the comments 👍
