Of course the differences of Thailand compared to America are essentially endless. But after spending almost 700 days here as an American, what do we know now? Lots of great points! On my recent trip it became very apparent to me that, Thailand is always going to be a foreign place to me no matter how long I could stay. You are right that here in America we can get away with certain things. I love Thailand though, and can't wait to go back. Did you find it hard to get a extended visa?

As much as we are living in the very relaxed pace known as 'Thai Time,' big chunks of time seems to fly pretty fast.
Every day is slow, but the calendar months flip quickly. Weird.
