I was a *POOR* white kid. Growing up, we were the family having baskets of food and gifts left on our doorstep at Christmas and my parents an envelope of money to pay bills because we had nothing. I watched my parents break their backs to make ends meet. Dad worked two jobs, we had one car, my mom would wake us up at 4/5 in the morning to take my dad to work at a warehouse job and then he'd hitch a ride to his next one. Thank you dad. My mom raised us kids and homeschooled us. Thank you mom. He's now a counselor at a state prison, my mom is now a successful nurse, but they broke their backs to get there and gave up on a lot of dreams and didn't get to live a life of luxury so many others did (her sister and her black husband were always going on vacations with their two kids). Funny thing is, we never noticed race, we never noticed finances, the little things meant *everything* to us and still does. In fact, I'd say I'm better off because of where I was at when I was younger. So this whole "white" people bullshit needs to end...

I think the bigger problem is that they use those quotes to justify in their minds why they hate Trump and then find out those quotes are from their guy they minimize it. If they said “well damn I don’t like that he said that but I support policy this or that” it would be understandable. I can’t stand Trump. I think he’s a vile human. I was a *POOR* white kid. Growing up, we were the family having baskets of food and gifts left on our doorstep at Christmas and my parents an envelope of money to pay bills because we had nothing. I watched my parents break their backs to make ends meet. Dad worked two jobs, we had one car, my mom would wake us up at 4/5 in the morning to take my dad to work at a warehouse job and then he'd hitch a ride to his next one. Thank you dad. My mom raised us kids and homeschooled us. Thank you mom. He's now a counselor at a state prison, my mom is now a successful nurse, but they broke their backs to get there and gave up on a lot of dreams and didn't get to live a life of luxury so many others did (her sister and her black husband were always going on vacations with their two kids). Funny thing is, we never noticed race, we never noticed finances, the little things meant *everything* to us and still does. In fact, I'd say I'm better off because of where I was at when I was younger. So this whole "white" people bullshit needs to end...
