Hey guys thanks for this. Due to short notice of the live cast i wasn't able to get a party together. But me and 4 other friends got into vent and watched the live cast together. Thanks so much for doing this, it was worth staying up late (i'm EST). The first game didn't start till 3:50am and the series ran till about 6am. If you guys are going to do the MSL's next week please let us know. We'd like to get together at friends place and watch on the big screen. Thanks again though. Great time!
I have been left SO impressed by Movie. I think his play in this game would've beaten any Terran player that has ever existed, with the exception of the one he happens to be up against in this match. What an amazing opening 15 minutes by Movie. His two recalls on Flash's factory line lost him the game.

I meant that Terran is the most playable while behind. Terran tends to have the most options available at any one time. When behind, they have the ever popular vulture harass and dropship play while their tanks defend a few expansions. Irradiate against Zerg is a powerful lategame strategy (FirebatHero vs Savior) A good emp will neutralize multiple arbiters. Walls/mines/seige will kill protoss. Flash doesn't really...get behind. When he does though, he shows this tenacity (vs Really and HyuN)
It's not the recalls that lost Movie the game, in fact he lost his advantage when he snapped and decided to attack feeling comfortably in the lead - in the leed he was, but he should have waited for Flash to unsiege and make a move instad of suiciding his army into a well dug in position. After that battle Flash came out on top being 137 supply to Movies 130 when initlally Movie attacked with 180/190 when flash defended with around 150.
I suddenly got a thought that since players practice strategies and what not against a lot of other players. There is probably a lot of dirty work done in terms of finding out what strategies other players use. Probably part of the unspoken portions about all the preparation work that is done leading up to a big tournament match.
That allowed Flash back into the game and crucially here Movie decided to go for recalls instead of capitalizing on his at that time still better macro capabilities and building his army back up again to wait for another big battle while still being up on bases. Recalls just kept him on the back foot, since its sending your forces piecemeal, while Flash defended comfortably and slowly crept up the map closing in the gap. Recalls = not enough of a standing army to push a 180/200 terran back.
The commentators were downright rude come last half of the commentary. There's nothing wrong with criticizing mOvie's wasted opportunities (god knows there was plenty of those), but making so many jokes, as a commentator, and being outright disrespectful towards the skill of someone playing the OSL finals is just horrible manner.
Movie did a good job expanding i think that was the right move, nice defesne by flash on those recalls and I REALLY LIKE THE EMP THINKS ITS VRY UNDERUSED.
I wonder when ppl will finally realize that Flash allows protoss players to steal his gas. He has seen that probe coming in long before it even got into the main - he had quite some time to cancel an scv building and plant down a rafinery. he chose not to since he has everything timed out perfectly and he knows it aint such an awesome advantage for the protoss either 100 mins early for a little bit later rafinery is an exchange you can take and capitalize on like we have seen in games vs Best,
Ah. Proxy Robo into Observer-Mass expansion. ...Processing...Complete Turreted main into Supply Depot Wall and mines. Without watching the rest of the games, I can only predict Flash's 3-0. Anyone that has ever complained about PvT imba needs to watch this game and realize that Terran is the only race that is somehow playable from any position.
EPIC game. Flash took WAYYY too long to push out though, he had that sealed a long time before. If only movies recalls at the beginning didnt fail.... :( sadface. :(
Because you don't see how it is, doesn't mean it isn't childish. Of course, this is just my opinion, as much as the comment was yours. Basically, what I was saying, is that you were sort of making yourself look like a hypocrite in that sort of sense. That is all. I won't get involved with your new 'friend' however. As I also think that the insult at the end that gaggyfish made, was too, childish also.
altho no one wants their gas stolen i think he planned on it happening but then you have to consider that movie had it all planned out. up untill he recalled into the main he was in such a great position to win. i honestly think that movie played more inventingly while flash just played boring turtle terren with a seige line not that great of a finals on flashes end movie made it great
Seriously, how can anyone watch this with 4 commentators? Especially with such bad sound from some of them. I watch this from NukeTheStars he did a solid commentary for this awesomely epic match up. I don't mean to hate or anything, but am I the only one who finds this annoying?(also DejaVu is great but his sound is terrible) Anyway, both Flash and Movie are awesome!
