Saw this movie with my best friend... What an amazing movie. I could watch it a hundred times and fall in love with Nicholas Hoult's character a million times over.
You know, it really is uncanny how this movie from almost a decade ago, manages to parallel the world over the past couple years (except for the zombies obv) almost to the t. At 1:41, R is talking about how before, anyone could express themselves clearly and everyone just enjoyed each other’s company, and yet everyone we see, is about as distant from each other as possible. Everyone is engrossed in their electronics and nobody stops to talk to people or even enjoy the Christmas decor/music. And yet the “cure” for the zombies at the end of the movie, is love and acceptance, and having the patience and care to help them reintegrate into society. And unironically, all the people we see then are more social and down to earth and actually spend time with and enjoy each other.
I love 1:41 when he says "It must have been so much better" when everyone has a cell on them even the kids lol.And at the end of the clip the zombie friend was about to order and I swear he said "Oh wait..." rofl
This is one of the best movies I've seen in a while, between the dark humor to the sweet parts it was just an adorable film. Definitely buying it the day it comes out!
2:46 "Im lonely, im lost, i mean, i am literally lost, i never been on the part of the airport before" That part i think is really funny because is lost, literally
When I saw the poster for this I though "Grate, another movie about necrophilia" Now a can't wait to see an action/comedy with a touch of romance in a post zombie apocalypse world.
I am awestruck that they kept the dark humor together while still showing this horrible world that R lives in this 4 mins. I am dying to know what "R' real name is!” I hope there will be another novel. R" and Juile are very important characters in the novel, but Perry is also just as important b/c "R" is remembering Perry's memories. I can’t wait to see how the movie will portray "R" later on when Perry’s is remembering perry's memories in his daydreams. (PART 2)
I saw this movie in theaters on January 31st and it was AMAZING! Because of this clip I was quoting just about everything from the first 4 minutes (this video isn't the full first for minutes there's a few little sections skipped)
Who knew it would be loosely based on Romeo and Juliet? It was soo sweet! Went to see it yesterday and laughed my ass off when they played 'Pretty Women'
Honestly, the book is one of the best I've ever read... I had no idea an author could explore human emotions and humanity in general so well through zombie. Read the book. The narrative from R's perspective is amazing.
Thanks for the upload. I went to this on opening night by myself, and I regret it because my aunt and I are doing this budget thing to help me manage my money, and I'm not allowed to go see movies twice anymore unless I have enough Scene points for a free movie.
Oh god that scene where he was thinking how every interacted before and the way the kid was playing a psp KILLED ME! I am that way to much. Always looking at my iPhone because I do not want to look anyone in the face. Hell sometimes I cross the street trying not the make eye contact WITH THE GOD DAMN DRIVERS! Yes its their fault for not paying attention to the lights but then again me being hit with a 2 ton steel machine is not gonna help me win the battle.
Awkwardly at each other." (M and R grunt and groan at each other while staring) "We even have almost conversations sometimes. (More groaning and awkward staring) "Days pass this way" (M lets out a long low moan, R shuffles his head in his direction.) "But sometimes we even find actual words. Words like "Hungry" and "City". (R looks ahead of him, then back at M, and shuffles away. M lifts his arm to say something else, then doesn't)
"This is a typical day for me. I shuffle around, occasionally bumping in to people, unable to apologize. Or say much of anything. It must have been so much better before, when everyone could express themselves. And communicate their feelings. And just enjoy each other's company." -- R This. This is exactly what I think of the human race in a world too drowned in technology. We don't connect personally anymore. I love how they retained the metaphors from the book.
Looks fantastic, seriously not what I was expecting. Love the part where it flashes back to where as if he was walking through the airport of today satirically mocking how we are basically already zombies.

"And by best friend I mean we occasionally grunt and stare awkwardly at each other" lol

"I'm lonely, I'm lost...I'm literally lost, I've never been in this part of the airport before"
"stop stop don't pick at it, your making it worse!" I laughed and laughed at that part in the theatre!
"I'm lonely I'm lost I mean im literary lost I've never bin to this part of the airport before." lol
I just imagine the actors trying not to crack up staring at eachother like that.
They totally skipped the part where he saw those two kids that were lost too. And now I realize how obsessed I am with this movie.. :)
This was the most unconventional zombie movie I'd ever seen. I loved it!
2:46 "Im lonely, im lost, i mean, i am literally lost, i never been on the part of the airport before" That part i think is really funny because is lost, literally

I like the "Check Please... Oh wait, I'm a Zombie." at the end.
"I'm lonely...I'm lost...I mean, I'm really, really lost! I've never been to this part of the airport before o.O" jdhfksdj hahaha.
I laughed at his whole monologue xD "what am I doing with my life?" hahaha
Saw this movie today. I have 3 words: GREATEST...MOVIE...EVER!!!
this looks hilarious....love the scene with the best friend "almost conversation"....
The dialogue between the two zombies was really well written.
"Enjoy each others company" as their all on their phones lol
Can't wait. Looks like they stayed true to the message of the novel too. Awesomeness.
This is by far, my favourite movie.
I want to watch the bloopers for this! I can't imagine they were able to keep a straight face!
Is this supposed to be a comedy, or...? I mean, I laughed pretty hard during that conversation part.
This film is really good, watched it a few days go.
I HIGHLY recommend watching this.
i forgot it was only a clip, and it took new a minute to remember why it stopped after 4 minutes lol. THIS LOOKS SO GOOD :)
"I'm lost.. I mean I'm literally lost. I've never been in this part of the airport before."
When I saw the poster for this I though "Grate, another movie about necrophilia" Now a can't wait to see an action/comedy with a touch of romance in a post zombie apocalypse world.
There's a lot of differences I see from the book, but somehow all the differences all work so well. Can't wait to see this movie!

I saw this movie in theaters on January 31st and it was AMAZING! Because of this clip I was quoting just about everything from the first 4 minutes (this video isn't the full first for minutes there's a few little sections skipped)
I saw the premiere last night. I definitely love this movie and recommend seeing it!!
Does anyone else notice that, in the flashback, everyone is looking at their phones and R is telling that everyone was enjoying each other's company?
I could watch this 4 min like ALLL day
I can just imagine all the young kids asking, "Who sung that song patience." Makes you feel old.

The book is really good! Everyone should read it, if they haven't already.
Honestly, the book is one of the best I've ever read... I had no idea an author could explore human emotions and humanity in general so well through zombie. Read the book. The narrative from R's perspective is amazing.

the book was great! Looking forward to this.
I think this movie is mixed genres like mixed with drama scifi and comedy how cool!!!
There was more depth, social commentary and character development in these 4 minutes than in the entire Twilight franchise.
I really can't wait for this to come out!
Oh well, it doesn't change the fact that Warm Bodies is awesome :)
