True, I mean I don't know I always look for men watches but it's true, even if I search Tissot only I don't come across ladies watches. Not sure why I guess because men review the watches that they like, they bought it for themselves or they like that time piece. Maybe there should be women that do these videos about watches for ladies, not sure why they aren't I guess women are not that interested in watches overall. Just search watches online, any brand all you find is men watches presented by a man. Rarely a woman's.
Hey thank you for asking. Tissot makes some pretty great watches across the board. A quartz watch of the same model will look very similar if not identical except that the second hand will tick once per second instead of 8 times a second with an automatic watch. Also the back of the watch will of course not have a cool mechanical movement to admire. On the plus side though, a quartz watch will run for around a year or two before needing a battery change and will be very accurate. The mechanical will stop running after being set down for more than a couple days. I am a purist and greatly prefer mechanical watches but quartz certainly has a place too. Hope this helps!
Great question. No it does not. Unfortunately that is a feature that is usually not found until one crosses the $1.5 to $3k mark. And for many more dress oriented watches, it does not matter how much you spend. Pateks Calatrava is a great example of this. $30k and no screw down crown.
You DON'T need to spend "$1.5 to $3k" to get a watch with a screw-down crown. You can get one for less than $50. However, you typically would only find that feature in a diver's watch. Why would you be looking for that in a ladies' dress watch?
That is a nice looking watch! They are quite similar and it appears they have the same movement as well so I think it is more of a preference thing. Hard to go wrong with either. One thing to note is that the Carson has standard type lugs which would allow for easy strap changes while the Bellissima has a reverse lug that would probably require proprietary straps.
I man totally could wear this watch. Tissot does classify it as a woman's watch which I imagine is because it is 30mm in diameter which is certainly a bit unorthodox for a man given that men traditionally have worn 32-42mm watches. However, if you prefer the 30mm size to the 40mm size that Tissot markets as the mens version, I would say go for it!
Bit too small. I have very small wrists but even i can't wear a 34mm watch because it makes it look a bit feminine. 35mm is my limit and my hands are barely 6inch
I just bought the Tissot Premium Lady Automatic (in rose gold) after watching this video and some research. I absolutely adore the watch!
That is so good to hear! It is a great watch and I am very glad you are enjoying it!
There are very few videos on women's watches. Thanks for making one. Keep it up 👍
My pleasure! I am glad you appreciate it!
