You don't know how many times I attempted this piece and it never made it :) it's almost the symbol of what we do, it's the epitome of synthesized baroque music, it's the one piece that seems to be have written exactly for this instrument. Congratulations Graham for this brilliant execution (with clear references to Carlos' own masterpiece, if I can say).

Dear OrzoMondo thanks so, so much for this and trust me I can imagine, I've spent countless hours trying to get the opening of Brandenburg 4 and I've gotten nowhere. - Like many I can remember where I was when I first heard Carlos' version and still wowed as much I was as a wee lad in the early seventies, so its referenced a lot here. - I'd never thought about it but you're right of course it's taylor made for synthing barokers. - Interestingly though, violinist friends know the original Prelude version but don't seem to know of the SOB or Bach's BWV 29 arrangement!

Love it, Graham! Great combination of sounds - the very Carlos lead with the clearly synthethic trumpet stabs is a great combination.

Graham, this is really a treat! I also love that you bring JSB right into the middle of our life through the photos you choose. Btw, this year I will be attending this year's Leipzig Bachfest and I expect a lot of this kind of thrilling "living Bach" there.

Dear Andreas thanks again. The itinerary and line up looks really great at the Bachfest. It's something I can't do this year but have it mind, perhaps next. Anyway, you'll enjoy, it's got to sound "living" with his DNA everywhere in Leipzig.

Thank you! Your channel and pieces are a great motivation for my composings! :) Are you people also composing own music? Or do you make remixes from new componists? :)
