Poodles are the best! We trained ours on wee wee pads and also to go outside. Once he is trained, you won’t have to get up and go outside in the early am, he will just go on his pad. Be patient with the little guy. ❤

I trained mine with the grass pads outside right away. I didn’t want them to get used to going inside. I lived on the 3rd floor of a walk up at the time and going down to the backyard constantly with puppies was a bit much so I put the grass pads on the back porch and they worked really well. I took them out immediately in the morning and then whenever they woke from naps so they got used to going outside and used to going in the grass. I slept with them in the living room for the first few weeks. Mine were house trained in a month. It was a lot of work and little sleep in that first month but well worth it.

For some apparent reason I was searching for poodles and ran across your video smh 🤔, now I'm hooked on getting one. Never had a house dog but kept my Best friend and his Wife's and a 💡 went off, still debating because I have to travel with my work sometimes so thinking 🤔... Great honest review 👍
You can travel with small dogs !
As a poodle owner and lover, I would not recommend them to first time dog owners, unless you have legitimately done your research on their needs. Perhaps find a friend with a poodle, ask to learn to comb them, ask what the grooming budget is. And overall budget. The energy and money is no small thing if you want to take proper care of them!

Poodles are my favorite dog. I have had Standard Poodles and Miniature Poodles and now I want a Toy Poodle so bad I can't stand it. I have had Poodles my whole life and I'm now 52 years old. I'm considering a poodle, either toy or miniature. Are they super energetic? I want a fairly calm dog, laid back. I will walk him about an hour a day but I tend to lay around my house a lot. I'm retired.
@@wbl5649 Yes the got a lot of energy but have an amazing personality. A calm dog is a labrador or golden retriever.

What size is his Wild One harness? I want to get a toy poodle, buy the harness in advance. It’s hard to guess measurements when they are fluffy during difference seasons.

May I ask the group how much is a good price to get a toy Poodle and any suggested website to purchase one. There are too many scam sites out there.
Anywhere from $1200-$3000+ .. A GOOD bred dog is costly but you will save in healthcare expenses paying for a HEALTHY pup from a good bloodline
Your country’s kennel club should have a list of recommended ethical breeders. Also do a lot of research on how to interview a breeder- although this isn’t perfect, I knew a lot of what to ask and still got taken by a less ethical breeder. Also look at Google reviews, BBB where possible, and ask for references if possible.
