Don’t care, Gregg just ain’t it. I’ve seen his fanboys defend this dude over and over and he proves our points every time when he keeps doing things wrong. After this WC, bro gotta go. Could care less if we pass the group stage. This reeks of Chelsea and the whole situation with Claudio ranieri managing us, but taking us to 4th place so Roman could buy the club, and then he was let go so then Mourinho could lead the line in the champions league and in a new owner era. Gregg sorta did what he had to do, wasn’t pretty, but he did it. Congrats to him. Now, it’s time to say goodbye and appoint a coach with actual tactical ideology and smarts, to take over this squad and lead it to the potential it can very well reach, not settle for mediocrity and biased choice selection for the sake of “well, well, but.. but, he took us to the gold cup and nations league and passed the World Cup!!” Don’t care. Ultimately he will be judged on how we do at the WC. TBF a lot of the things that people continually rag him about and say he doesn't know what he doing, ended up with GB being correct and the fans wrong. I think it would help Colin to understand the structure of the WC tournament and understand the road map that the group stage establishes for teams that make the knockouts if he wants to truly know what the prospects of the USMNT are in this WC. If you get out of the group stage as a 2nd seed, that’s good, but then you’re slotted to play a group winner that could very obviously be one of the World Cup title contenders. If you win the group it makes it much easier to win your round of 16 match ‘cause you’re going up against the runner up of the group adjacent to you which in this case would be group A(The Netherlands, Senegal, Ecuador, and Qatar). Quarterfinals onward are always gonna be some of the toughest matches to win at the international level so it would be of great benefit to the USMNT’s confidence if they top a group with England in it. They’ve already done it before in 2010. Do it again, make the path for yourself easier, especially in a group A that doesn’t have an overwhelmingly world-class team in their group, although Senegal and the Netherlands are obviously very good as well

The interview reminds me of how much I despise main stream media. Loads of questions. Short responses. No depth. Each one of the questions asked could have been a 20 minute discussion. I'm tired of the best player on our team being the GK'er, I'm stoked that we have some serious YOUNG (keyword here) talent on in the field, not in net.

We also have a very inept manager who 80% of fans want out. Despite Southgate, we still did OK in the last 2 tournaments. with Arronson, pulsic and Dest I think the US have good chance v England as long as they do not sit back and allow.

He has a core that will clearly be in Qatar and that starting line up. Kelley Acosta, Brenden Aaronson, Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, Tyler Adams, Yunus Musah, Walker Zimmerman, Jordan Morris, and DeAndre Yedlin. Guys like Tim Weah, Gio Reyna, Ricardo Pepi and Jesus Ferreira are bubble players, Tyler Adams is his safety net for defensive mid or back line. Nov 14 is the final day for coaches to submit their list since they need to travel. I feel all the guys I mentioned will be on the list. John Brooks will be left out, Cristian Roldan and Miles Robinson have a bigger chance.

People get hyperbolic about him and with that we deserve to get made fun of. But I don't think anyone thinks he's Messi, it's just amazing having a player play a significant role on a Champions League winning side.

For as a non-American Reyna is the most skilful American with the highest quality ceiling. Adam’s tactical the best American and McKennie is the best all round player. I'm from England and feel that they're focusing too much on the England game and could get caught out against the other two in the group.
Most of the other England fans I've spoken to feel that the US will be our hardest game in the group (on paper) and could lose that game, but won't waste too much time/energy focusing on the US as Wales and Iran are going to be very tight games where you play for the same points as anyone else.
In addition to this, England have recently been in their worst form since Southgate first took over in 2016, and the majority of people who know the game well here, are predicting they are going to have a very poor tournament. Quite possibly finish 3rd and go out in the group stage (especially if they don't win our first game).
