Hey Asiya, I just started viewing your videos, and they seem interesting and useful. Although I haven't yet scheduled my exam, I have found that your IELTS RUclips channel to be the most useful and realistic thus far. The reading portion of the video was the first I viewed yesterday. The techniques you mentioned were highly accurate and "can do" in nature. I'm taking IELTS not to fulfil any VISA requirements, but rather to add it as a valid certification for requirements related to my line of work.
I just wanna to thank you because based on your videos I could reach the IELTS score I needed. You really provide high quality information! :D

Hi everyone, just finished my exam today (general training). A few tips:
1. Be quick on your feet on the listening exam. The speakers in the recording spoke much faster than the practice audio I had so I missed some details and ended up guessing.
2. Make use of the highlight option for computer exam for easier reference and review.
3. Speaking test:
-Part 1: barbecue
-Part 2: about someone older whom I admire
-Part 3: old people (IKR)

Done with my IELTS and got L-8 R-8 W-7 S-7 and overall band 7.5 and this happens to be my first attempt and I'm glad I made it. Thank you Asiya, for the amazing and highly informative content. you are a guardian angel who opens the gate called IELTS for people to go forward and pursue their higher education abroad. how long does is take for you to get 7.5?
@@parsajackson7353 I mean that depends on how much time you allot to each category and spend some time to analyze your strengths and weaknesses and later work on them. Id say a quality practice for about 3weeks would be fine if you're generally good in English. Try practicing Listening Reading Writing daily instead of practicing one category the whole day.

@@jaskarankaur3719 lot’s of practice, initially solve 2/3 practice test, repeat. analyse why you didn’t get the answer or wrong. later practice more atleast 35 passage to get 7/7.5 in reading.
never read full passage.
read question find answer using keyword or signspots , underline question in 3 part : noun, verb & adjective.
it will help.
i got 5.5 in 2018, now 7 in 2021, two attempts only. both time i prepared for one month only & self preparation at home.

@@aminujamiu758 I think it is not as difficult as you'd think. For listening, the expectation is clear in terms of numbers of words and for reading, you have a big screen so you can see the both short readings and questions. All the best

@@roamonnc9778 Read the questions first and then the passage. Don't overthink, go with your gut instinct. If you overcomplicate it, you'll definitely end up making a mistake. Apart from this, just read newspapers, articles and novels to build your reading habit and pace.
