Just love your channel. Been compulsively watching clips from all decades. Don't know why I picked this one to comment. Really good; totally varied choices.
Before watching this video I recalled the following… Three of the best Westerns of all-time: - The Wild Bunch - True Grit - Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid Two great WWII movies: - Battle of Britain - Where Eagles Dare Additionally, these: - Midnight Cowboy - Easy Rider - The Italian Job - They Shoot Horses, Don't They?
Thank you for showing me Salesman, i have only recently stumbled upon your channel after watching your review of my favorite movie Wake In Fright, you have earned my sub in spades. Keep making great videos mate
I saw the Wild Bunch as a kid and loved it. I kinda forgot about it till i watched the final shoot out on RUclips a couple of years ago. I then bought the film on bluray and have been watching it on a rotation since. A superb movie, balletic deaths and ultra violence, lovely 😊
I've seen you top ten videos by date. We had very similar tastes up to the mid-fifties films, and since then we have been diverging. 1969 is, so far, when we have coincided the least. Here are my top favorite films of 1969: 1. La voie lactée - The Milky Way 2. O Dragão da Maldade contra o Santo Guerreiro - Antonio Das Mortes 3. They Shoot Horses, Don't They? 4. La caduta degli dei - The Damned 5. Satyricon 6. Z 7. Kladivo na carodejnice - Hammer for the Witches 8. Lucía 9. El Chacal de Nahueltoro - Jackal of Nahueltoro 10. La Sirène du Mississippi- Mississipi Mermaid
Will check salesman, intriguing .. i personally would perhaps consider L´armee des ombres (strangely enough there aren´t many movies about the french resistance that i can think of), bratya karamazovy, the cremator, color of pomegranates, last summer, the passion of anna, la femme infidele ... thanks for the upload, very enjoyable!
My Top 10 1. Midnight Cowboy 2. Take the Money and Run 3. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid 4. Easy Rider 5. Cactus Flower 6. The Wild Bunch 7. The Learning Tree 8. The Rain People 9. On Her Majesty's Secret Service 10. They Shoot Horses Don't They
Great list with several I haven’t seen. Also I’ll mention True Grit, Army of Shadows, One on Top of the Other, and one of Hammer’s best...Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed. Can’t wait to watch all the previous videos.
My Top 10 (Edit, forgot that Once Upon a Time in the West was in '68, not '69): 10. The Wrecking Crew 9. Z 8. The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie 7. Take the Money and Run 6. The Wild Bunch 5. Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice 4. Support Your Local Sheriff 3. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid 2. Easy Rider 1. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
I liked Easy Rider, Midnight Cowboy, and They Shoot Horses. But I would have included Alice's Restaurant, Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice, Last Summer and The Sterile Cuckoo.
