Great video! I lived in Hawaii for two years and believe me, Hawaiian shirts are always in style in the islands. They even coined a term, "Aloha Casual" for work Fridays or some social gatherings. Hawaii is more casual than the main land for the most part except for some fine dining restaurants, but you can get away with a Hawaiian shirt most of the time.
Just got two pairs of black leather and brown suede Ferragamo drivers. Jumped down on a pair of dark brown Bally loafers. Topped it off with 3 pairs of 8.5in shorts. Definitely summer ready. Salute!

I was tempted to getting a pair of brown loafers for summer, but I opted for some suede light gray ones. Another good summer fabric that's actually considered classic is seersucker.
Good choice, the last two years I been wearing some plaid seersucker short sleeves shirts and I have just added some traditional verticle strips seersucker short sleeve shirts along with a navy seersucker bomber jacket.

I think the best way to incorporate trendy items is to incorporate it in my accessories or to go for a trendy item I could see myself wearing long term even after it is not so trendy.
