I live near the corner of Amar and Azusa. During this time we just moved in , that Chevron station was torn down and later became a Block buster video. The Lucky Super Market ,it's now Tokyo Central and there is a Gym next to it. Pretty much the same, however good footage. It is nice to go back, and remember how things were.

The exact location was apparent within the first second of video. The west side of Azusa Ave, just north of the 10 freeway underpass, facing north. Then southbound under the freeway. The (no longer) Lucky's shopping center is farther south on Azusa on the east side of the street. Then continuing south over Azusa Ave, past Nelson Ave toward Amar Rd. I'm not 100%, but from there it looks like east bound on Amar Rd toward Nogales. Southbound Nogales would take you toward Rowland Heights.
The general geography of the area hasn't changed too much. But that entire area south of the 10 freeway is full of hills and would be a pretty tough commute on a bicycle. Awesome clip, thanks for posting.

Oscar Domínguez I had a $1000 ($2500 2015 dollars) RCA CPR-250 full size VHS camcorder! I was actually carrying that big ol thing on my shoulder while riding my bike!!! NO cell phone, NO GoPro's LOL. Oh yes, I used a program from Windows Vista with a firewire hook up. And plugged my analog VHS player to a digital camcorder that has the feature to turn analog video to digital. I then was able to transfer. BUT today, you need to buy software and a dongle (converts analog to digital), then you can capture it. The software and dongle will cost between $50 - $100
