Great job, Jeremy. Your attention to detail is awesome.
I second the request for a detailed mechanical/pneumatic carb synch demo.

Wow! That's complex, reveals your depth of knowledge, and makes me so happy you're my mechanic for the past 10 years! By the way, I sent you another new customer today--Jonathan--with a Zenith powered by a Rotax 914. He just moved into KDWA today--and I think we're going to be doing some flying together!

PS: BTW, I'm just about ready for my videos to get rolling again, now that I finally have my four new GoPro H7 Blacks all dialed in!

Great Job. By the Way, have you ever seen a Rotax propeller gearbox out of order or with worrying signs of wear at 1000 hr? is there a method to know if a gearbox must be inspected?

Not bad for a start, but definitely get a tripod in the future to hold the camera steady and allow all operations to be seen without the need to shut the camera off and leave out all of the hard operations.

Jeremy Macgregor You may want to watch a couple of John Talley’s videos at Partzilla. He works on motorcycles and ATVs, but this style and method of organizing his work is quite good and easy to follow. And the camera work is pretty good as well.

Hi I have an oil leak on the round chamber above the bearing.
It is sealed with an O-ring as far as I know.
Can the O-ring be replaced with the gear box removed?
Or can it only be replaced by separating both half's of the crankcase?

Hi yes the gearbox needs to be removed, there’s a screw holding the cap in place and it can be tapped out, oring replaced and reinstalled without splitting the case
