We are also using BF for early American history for my 2nd grader and pre-K boys. Going to be spreading it out over two years, so we will finish it next year. I’ve been doing so many of the rabbit trails and having a small party at the end of every section to celebrate what we have learned with the culinary connections. Definitely taking it way slower than it’s set up but we are all loving it so trying not to worry about it. 🤗
Hi! Im really enjoying your videos and they have been really helpful. May I ask why you added LLATL on top of IEW writing and grammar? Are you using it just for the literature part? Just curious bc Im currently using Fixit grammar with my 6th grader. Thanks!
What does your son think of "The Horse and His Boy?" I remember thinking it was kind of slow for me when I was younger, but am considering some of the CS Lewis books for my kids.

So interesting in how the Learning Language Arts through Literature works.
Yes, it has been really enjoyable for us!

Nice, that sounds really fun! Also, so smart to spread it over 2 years as it def has enough content for that!
We are using BF US geography as well, but we are doing the primary level. We just started it and I love the interest it has sparked! ❤️
I love the primary level of everything BFB does!

Yes, I primarily use for the literature and units like poetry and research. I like the variety!

We actually read this together as a family read aloud so it was a little better, but it wasn't as engaging as some of the other books in the series.
Noted, thanks!@@juiceboxhomeschool
