Customs is really so bad at judging the value of the products. They don't ask for invoice and just make an assumption. It is even bad when we buy during huge sales and buy a lot.
Vaish _ they don’t ask for invoice because they follow valuation rules. You invoice price could be at a discounted value therefore it is ignored. Moreover customs duty is charged because we are paying our money to other countries. This is done to protect our economy.

But if I am paying 1959 INR custons for a 1450 INR product just because it looked big and Customs think big means pricier, who is to blame? It doesn't even come under the 42% duty. They just need to frame a rule for product valuation.

If not they assess the value themselves. And it varies depending on your place, the officer, the weight of your parcel and where it is from.
Beautybarn is an Indian website and so you won't have customs. YesStyle is not from India and so you might have to pay customs. Customs is something that Indian Customs add to your parcel. You will be paying it to the post office. Not to the website you buy from.

You will be able to see the value in rupees only while paying through PayPal or after paying. But you can see the conversion rate on Google.

Is style korean doesn't ship in India?
YesStyle and beautybran.com are the website never ask for custom fee but there is min order value between Rs.2500 and Rs.2700
