Richard Sherman is a great player. But how much he benefited from playing on that LOB defense is overlooked. He had Chancellor and Thomas behind him. He had Avril, Wright, Bennett, Wagner, Clark and Irvin in front of him. I realize it was part of the Seahawks’ defensive scheme, but for the most part he only covered one side of the field. The best corners in the game shadow the best receivers...no matter which side of the field they line up on. Like I said, great player but I think he is overrated. Look what happened when he went to a team without all that defensive talent. He’s a legend in his own mind.
