- Melt and Pour Soap Making Melt and Pour Soap Swirl Tutorial for Beginners in Silicone Soap Mold
I have had these massage bar molds for sometime now and thought that it would be a great video to camoe back with.
Each of these cavities holds about 4.4 oz.
I mixed mica with alcohol and put it into some of the openings in the mold. In retropeact, when I do these again,
I would put mica in each hole and may use a little more than a drop or two.
That being said they were swooped up before I could decide who to send them to. So another batch maybe on the way.

Waoo ur back every day searching your vedio. Love to see u back
That mold is super hard to use on CP soaps but it’s much easier with MP.
Have missed you. Love your videos.
it worked 😃
So when making these soaps .. whenever we need to add color, we have to mix the color with alcohol first??
I just recently received this mold and Ive had a lot of issues unmolding. You made it look so easy. I’m guessing it’s best to keep to one pour like you did.
Place it in the freezer for about an hour..it unmolds better that way..you also have to take your time and press each circle for a bit
Yes, this one requires a slow unmold, push up on each ball separately. I can see those popping off if not completely set and unmolded too fast. 🌺
Thanks ladies! I was adding sea salt to the nubby areas, I think it was adding weakness. I made a batch without the salt, and had no issues with breakage 😍
Hello, loved the video. I’m a beginner and I have followed your video but it doesn’t look as good as yours. It does smell of rubbing alcohol a the rubbing alcohol was swimming on the top of the soap. Did I use too much? Would be amazing if you could help me. Thank you
The alcohol should just evaporate off. I would just spray a bit to pop bubbles. Give yourself some time and your will look better than mine. 🌻
so glad you are back. how long do you microwave for to melt your soap?
10-20 secs at a time. Do not overheat. 🌺
I know this video is older but question - did the mica rub off as you lathered the soap?
Painted mica will. This mica will eventually disappear with use of the soap.
Do u sell your soap at markets and if so, how much do u sell them for? If you don’t mind me asking. Thank you.
P,s it’s so sweet when you’re daughter is with you❤️
Karen I do not at this time, the best way to gauge this would be to look at stores like Etsy or private soaps who sell on thir own websites.
Hi, i do have a problem, that, many a times my soaps sweat,
I live in India n its warm summers n humid weather,
What could be done to save them from sweating,
And apart from this can they be used if they are sweated
I use low sweat melt and pour bases. If this is not available, then try to wrap thiem as soon as possible.
How did you package it?
I have theses molds and I love them but they Dont sell that much..clients still opp for the oblong/square shape...so disappointing
Hi Donna, I am thinking of ways to dress them up even more. I am working on it 🌺
@@koalasoap8435 yes I like that idea that u did..although I did some in the colours of my country blue, yellow n black but alas lol
Anna pls share some cold process soap
Yes Anna, please share some CP soap recipes.
This came out so pretty!
