Except that it isn't routed for the rhythm circuit :( not everyone uses that tho. I think it gives the JM a dimension of warmth you can't find anywhere else, though.
Just my opinion, but to me a Jazzmaster with humbuckers just isn’t a Jazzmaster, so I’m really happy to see actual JM pickups. Still missing the rhythm circuit, but much closer to “correct”.
You mentioned nothing about the Player 1 series split coil lol ...do you know that instrument? are you aware that if you pull the tone pot it splits !! Edit this video please
The Player II is what a Jazzmaster is supposed to sound and look like.

Sounds like it rly needs that rhythm circuit too, sounded more shrill than a Strat which is terrible imo
Yeah I've always call them Jazzblasters when they have humbuckers in them ala Sonic Youth. Both are cool though.
The Player 1 sounds like a solid humbucker guitar. The Player 2 sounds like a Jazzmaster. I bought the Player 2.
Congrats for the channel! 🤜🏽✊🤛🏼
Thanks so much!
So, what happened to the stainless steel frets and a real bone nut (or Graph Tech TUSQ) ??
