Dallas to Austin is a very short distance. It would've been even more interesting to hear someone say the taxiing took longer than the flight air time if flying from Dallas to Paris. Has any flight ever taxied for over 9 hours? Dallas to Austin is like 20 min air time, isn't it? Do most flights go by push back from the gate or just go by air time when figuring flight length?
I flew to Spain in February on board American Airlines to see my aunt de icing their 787 didn’t take to long but the pilots turned the engines off that way the passengers on board didn’t have to smell the chemicals after that they released the breaks then we were in the air
In ocotber , i get into dallas from vegas at roughly 5.45pm dallas time , next flight is dallas to dublin at 7.05pm both with AA lines, will i make it 😢 ????

The thing I hate about DFW is that it takes forever to taxi. I flew from there to Austin and the taxi at DFW took longer than the actual flight.😢

Amazing departure! Sounded like quite a low power setting. Did you feel the acceleration much as the engines hit toga?
It certainly didn’t feel like full power I do have another 787 video I posted that has a lot higher power for takeoff
