Thanks for a really well done and informative video. We are moving there 9/18/24 from Boulder City, NV. Your video really helped us to get a feel for our relocation. You have a great family and we are Nacho Libre fans too!

One of the most tourist friendly towns on the coast, love some Bandon! Check out the Bait Shop for fish and chips next time!

We use to live in Bandon, OR with my wife's Grandma. Very beautiful place. I worked at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. Best place to live. We moved to Charleston in Coos Bay after. Another great town. From there we moved to Carson City. Not as good as Oregon.

Just got back from our first visit to the Oregon coast and decided to hop on RUclips to see it all over again!
We stayed in Bend on the way there since it was a good halfway point from Boise. Your drive looks a bit different than I remember... we went south and then cut over from diamond lake. Was a really pretty drive, but fire clean-up was sad to see and slowed us down a bit.
Bandon was the perfect spot for a quiet 4-day getaway. We spent a day in Newport to get a more tourist experience before heading home and it was nice but not as good as the quiet escape Bandon offered.

Yeah we agree, Newport was definitely more touristy for sure. Bandon was much more relaxed and kicked back. If you went to diamond lake, you most definitely went farther south. But that is a great drive as well. It’s is pretty devastating to see all the toll the fires have caused on our beautiful forests in Oregon. Glad you had a great trip, thanks for checking in!

Bandon is a cute town as most on the Oregon coast are. You are right though, being from California I do prefer the cooler, less traveled beaches of Oregon. Great looking property that Dave has - hope to see it again once he is done with the home.

Hey Steve, thanks for watching, and the comment. Dave is the man, I am sure it is going to be pretty amazing when he gets it all set up. I am sure I will get another visit up there in the future.
