That's completely unethical if you know what your doing you would know that's wrong 1 that tub is way to tiny for clownfish 2 if your water is cloudy you should let even be thinking about buying anemones
Plus it’d be impossible to maintain an outdoor saltwater tank’s water levels when it’s open to the environment and you don’t know shit about testing your own water so you just pay some asshole who knows everything you’re doing is wrong to test it for you once every every other week or some shit 😂
Just a few tips about the anemones before you get them: 1.) Anemones need a certain spectrum of lighting to thrive (most important is the blue spectrum), because they have algae in their bodies that go through photosynthesis and provide them with their energy. You need light formulated specifically for reef aquariums for them to even survive. Any old light will NOT cut it. They also need intense light of around 200 par. The light on your tank is not enough. 2.) Anemones need a little bit of Alkalinity, Magnesium, and Calcium in the water to grow. As they get larger, they may Need trace element like iodine and manganese in the water. 3.) Anemones need EXTREMELY STABLE AND MATURE system to do well, and should not be added to a system under 3 months old. Preferably 6 month or older. 4.) Anemones need lots of flow, so power heads are needed to create a turbulent environment. 5.) Anemones can move around, so you need to protect the power heads with foam so they don’t get stuck in them. 6.) Anemones need very low nutrients in the water, and in a tank like yours with minimal filtration, they will not survive. Not trying to be mean, but anemones are NOT REMOTELY CLOSE to a beginner friendly animal. They need an extremely stable environment, with the right spectrum and PAR in their light, enough flow to bring them food, and take away their waste, major, minor, and trace elements in their water to build their bodies, and low enough nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia. They are far from impossible to keep, but three times as far from being ideal for a system like yours. Just trying to make sure the nem doesn’t die.A
That pond is too small for a pair of clown fish, also you need an ATU on it otherwise freshwater will evaporate and increase the salinity of the water and potentially kill them, The water is also alarmingly cloudy.
He knows alot about fish so I'm pretty sure y'all can trust him with this and if you have something bad to say keep it to yourself he only needs what he thinks
1 clownfish needs a 20 gallon min and add another 10 gals for each clownfish so the literal bare minimum for a clown pair is 30 gals but the pond is 25 gallons. I don’t think ur a bad person but PLEASE take better care of ur fish
@@braydentasb7981 it is the bare minimum requirement for clownfish. They’re not wrong. It literally took me 5 seconds to google this. The information is out there. He just cares about money.
You can use an 8 gallon tank for two clownfish if there's a cycle on the back of it CoralFish12g did a video on it as long as it's got a filter for two clownfish it's fine but I agree with you for like the amount of clownfish he bought and the fake (meaning it didn't naturally grow on there and he put them on the rocks) algae will pollute the water and kill them
Mate, an anemone requires a certain spectrum and higher intensity lighting than you’ve got on that mini pond, it’s not a good idea it’s not mature enough either, your going end up having a smelly dead fish soup !
What he should be worried about is not having a auto top off. The evaporation in that little thing is probably insane. The parameters are probably all over the place.
@Matt Reid it’s just frustrating because he has many awesome and beautiful fish and they are the ones paying the price. Given a horrible life to die. He doesn’t even completely defrost the shrimp and silversides. Almost everything he does is the wrong way. We all make mistakes in this hobby but the difference is we learn from it but he does the same thing. I would love for someone to go back and keep a death count of all the fish.
Yeah it is but he buys the fish for video purposes not for the well-being of the fish. So yes it is too small but as long as he makes money for the video he doesn’t care.
It will be fine for awhile. Not the best permanent home but it will be alright assuming water parameters are stable. What's not a good idea is an anemone. They need a strong source of light and very good water parameters. Hopefully he listens to Tommy's guidance. Tommy won't encourage him to do anything that would harm any animals
guys we really need to come together and watch this mans ads because i know the bill for all of these tanks is not cheap and i think he said he has a kid? so lets leave a like snd subscribe so we can keep our boy floating 💯
Hey Nick, you should definitely add some natural mangrove logs in there. It would be awesome seeing them swim around. Makes it look more exotic. It seems that the only problem is that it's kinda hard to see the fish. Maybe different lights or something? IDK. I guess it's one of the trade offs. Awesome pond. Great ideas. Keep it up!
Anenomes will still sting clown fish what they do is bite it to build up immunity to the stings. So first you'll notice the clown fish picking at the Anenome before it host it. There is a lot to this jazz, also Anenomes need pretty intense lighting and need to be acclimated to the light over time as well. The do best in a 6 month old tank min, and need stable parameters. Stability seachem could be a best friend to keep everything stable, and prime. But you got professional people coming in so they should know it. Mind you I do daily maintenance on my 85 gallon reef tank, not that it always needs it I just am very particular when it comes to my reef tank. Plus I just enjoy it. I also have tons of coral so it makes life a bit more complicated 😅 my husband loves me so I get fish 🐟☺
When u get the mangrove you should get an led for him I think it helps him grow and you could get a goby but idk if they jump but the wrasse jumps for sure so be careful
