You should get a cleaner crew, I’ve had 2 40B community planted tanks and always had atleast 20 amano shrimp in each tank to eat any uneaten food/algae also had some ram shorn snails and bladder snails, pretty much and eco system. You should do this but obviously the salt water version.
Bro be careful with the box fish.if it gets stressed out it will kill every fish . Choose a fish and do atleast a little research on it. I know you have fish for along time,but never get a fish if you don't know about it.

Maybe try to involve Tommy a bit more with the salt water setups so they won’t get over crowded etc. You could also catch less fish from the wild and buy more fish that are already being kept in captivity. I think your channel will grow a lot bigger and faster this way

Be careful on that box fish, when it got stressed out, it will release some toxin that can be deadly for the whole aquarium
