- Join me in this short vlog as I walk down a muddy path (Monks Walk) alongside Thorpe Park Resort in Chertsey
Monks Walk gives great views of the back of the theme park and of course a great opportunity to see the ongoing construction of Hyperia
Hyperia will be the UK’s tallest rollercoaster standing at a whopping 236ft and one of the fastest at 80mph, it is being build by Mack Rides of Germany

Great, chilled upload Andy. Enjoyed the slower pace and the "off script" chat down Monks Walk. Added a bit extra to the vid. Thanks for the update, i'll be heading down when the lift hill is up.

Nice update, really enjoyed, camera and sound was good and alright, did a good job both. Coaster is looking good, think it maybe short due to the experience all will have when you ride, maybe because with size inversions might be too much G-Force a.k.a intensity for a long layout? As they are bigger than any I have ever seen on both a video & in a park? Might be really intense especially on the outer bank inversion before dropping back down towards rest of layout. I mean that look's epic, cannot describe how that may feel. But I think it will be a good experience with loads of intensity. Especially on the vertical drop aswell, but nice vlog, really enjoyed and look forward to more updates aswell a vlog from opening event if there is one to come & your invited to the event? Rumba Rapids, those boats could of been sold off to enthusiasts aswell Shawn could of had the Rocky western themed railway water tower for his museum? Aswell maybe one of the boats for a table furniture? Do like what Dreamland have done to some of their classic ride cars? Could maybe see Rumba Rapids get removed in future? As they are quite expensive rides to run them types, yeah this park has now got a lot of water rides in its park, maybe after Hyperia a new attraction would be a good shout? Maybe a few years later? A new coaster built in Rumba Rapids place? But until something like that happens, still a waiting game. By the way, could of put theming on Nemesis Inferno from Monks Walk view, looks bare and even though its public path, would of thought there would of been theming there aswell? But yeah, nice vlog & look forward to the next. 😀👍

Not a huge fan of this. You excel at the small parks, unscripted and just being yourself. I know its offseason, but with Themepark Worldwide and others doing 50 nemesis and hypria updates every hour. We dont need it. Analysis and opinion pieces arnt your strength mate. Stick to what your strong at buddy. Keep up the great work!
fair enough, everyone is entitled to their opinion, doesn’t make it wrong, just that I enjoy hearing Andy’s take on it and am glad he is trying something different :)
Problem is that so many people are doing construction updates just so they can brown nose the parks and get their name down for the preview events lol
