Hey Bernardo, welcome aboard! RU7 is on my radar for quite a while, in case I'll have one for review then I will definitely compare it with HiBy's FC6. Small dongles are usually not that special sounding, but this one is something else completely.
Nice to see you again. I have 3 Hiby DAPs, 1 with R2R. I am disappointed with this Hiby Dongle, I was expecting them to produce a powerful R2R Dongle with a 4.4mm connector or a desktop DAC/Amp the size of the "ifi Gryphon" with similar connectors.
This is currently my favorite USB dongle, followed by Shanling's UA5 and then by FiiO's BTR7 and Qudelix 5K. FC6 can easily compete with a midrange DAP, I actually like it more than Hiby's RS2.
Glad your feeling better...do you use an external clock?...I'm wondering if or how much difference an external clock will matter while using a Gustard R26?

I bought the RU7 (after owning the RU6) great DAC love the sound, one problem there is clicking noise/pop sounds when playing files on a bunch of software like Audirvana, HQPlayer (no problem with Roon though) must be DSD conversion...@@ruslanmulyk8601

This dongle is quite powerful for having “just” a 3.5mm connection
nice review...what's your favorite usb dac dongle? and considering SQ Only, can it compete a DAP , if I may ask?

i aint got a phone (ball & chain) just use the shanling m1s with dca closed x hp's for portable music; works well!

interesting that iphone cant handle it - given that iphone can handle just fine FC4 thah has way more juice
