Hello, friend. No, it doesn't sound like tubes amp. In general, it's a wrong idea to "generalise" tube amps, as they are different, as well as R-2R DACs. But with some stretch, I'd say that they have some similarity, like making sound "warmer" by making treble less energetic and forward, but overall perception is different. R-2R dongles make sound more "firm", highlighting punch and dynamics. While tubes are more about highlighting harmonics, making representation more "sweet", and more relaxed
Ok. U know ur stuff n its legit. Wow its seems like r2r is my target rite now.. After delta sigma n tubes. How bout fc6 frm hiby Cuz im into iem endgame system only.. tq n peace sir!
I have a bunch of players, so for me it's easy choice - FC6, I really like its sound. But you must first of all select do you need a separate player or not. Sonically FC6 is better, but a player is a player
@@asotomayor Just because of the price tag and from what it offers I tend to buy Tempotec V6 . Tempotec is a little bit cheaper than Hiby now. I am tempted to get it. I thought the same thing you said about Hiby FC6. It's no doubt a very good device. Thanks.
Thanks for a grand review! For the first time Iam considering device for $300 single ended and 100mW of power😆❤️ BTW it is possible to get a convertor from DD hifi from 4.4 to 3.5
I have a huge collection of earphones and headphones, and to be honest, just a few models needs more than 100 mW. but that models are anyway created for the desktop amplification as for convertor, if it's 4.4 "female" to 3.5 "male" (not sure if it ok to use these terms nowadays, but I don't know "correct ones"), then it's ok to use adapter. but not the otherwise )))
Thanks for the nice review! Between Cayin 6 and FC6 which one provides better soundstage like the depth and airiness imagining etc?
for me it's FC6 (as stage is subjective thing)
Thanks for the helpful input !
Great review as always. Still on the fence between this Hiby FC6 and the excellent Cayin RU6 which I already have.
Me too. Love my RU6, curious what the FC6 does differently. Just concerned about the cost and power output.
if you already have RU6 and like its sound, just relax and enjoy it. music is the main goal, not an eternal pursuit for the better device :)
Thanks for the great review! In terms of pure sound quality, which one do you think is better, FC6 or R6 III?
I'd prefer FC6, but it's a subjective thing, R6-3 is more neutral and monitoring, but FC6 balaces weight better and sounds more organic to my ears
Hello Pavlov,
Does it have Bluetooth connection so I can stream from Bluetooth on my phone and connect my IEM’s to this Dongle DAC?
Hello, no, it's just for the USB connection, no Bluetooth
Sir, does sound like tubes amp? If not tell me what differenciated between em.?..thx..peace!

Wut i means in ru7 1bit frm cayin. Sory typo
1 more sir, which has the best Timbre quality.. Tubes or R2R?.. Tq2
@@masterazlan6999 I've tested FC6 not so long ago, and I really enjoy it. But I didn't test RU7 yet, so can't compare with it
Any thoughts on the Cayin RU6 in comparison?
It's at 24:25
Is hiby fc6 suitable for rock, edm,HipHop music?
Yes, I mean why not. It's a universal device
@@PortaFi Thank. 😊
Hi, I know that it can seem a not reasonable question!
Which one would you take Tempotec V6 or this Hiby?
Thanks.

@@PortaFi Thank you. It il be a hard choice.😀
@@skyhawk3090I have the V6 and it sounds incredible, as well as the Cayin RU6. That said, I’m still thinking of getting this FC6.

@@jaroslavfricek7772 well, we can organise that after the war :)
@@PortaFi I hope soon😉
Thanks for this video!
Just wondering how close the fc6 gets to the rs6 sound?
Thanks Again?
Rooting for Ukraine 🇺🇦
Thank you!
Well, surprisingly, but I'd said that FC6 in many cases is better, as it's less warm and dense than RS6
@@PortaFi thank you, that’s very helpful!
How is the FC6 vs an og chord mojo and or mojo 2?
Thank You 🎧✨🙏
Hi can you compare it with earmen colibri? Thank you so much
Hello, unfortunately I don't own Colibri
Is this even better than Ibasso DC04 ?
yes
