Can't wait to watch it, as I'm busy now. 2 to 4 inches of snow Sunday night into Monday, and I fertilized last week, and now, the grass might be 3-4 inches high. Lol. I need to do spring cleanup soon!

Brian I know I just left you a comment and I finished your video. Right hand grip the handle, index finger trigger, thumb to the switch. if you squeeze the throttle with the trigger finger then use your thumb in a downwards motion and that locks the throttle. i like the control cause it saves my trigger finger on long blowing jobs. hope this helps if it hasnt been done before in the comments

Brian's, I see a few people have recommended a jump box for you I would totally agree with that this is what I run JNC950 it's considered professional grade. I keep it in my truck and what I like about it is that jump box has made me over $2,000 now in the ten years that I've owned it, when I'm snow plowing during the winter months if I see somebody's Hood up and they can't get their car started because of a dead battery I help jump-start it for 20 / 25 bucks cash. That jump box had saved me a few times also but it's made a lot of money for me. food for thought...

Brian I heard you give props to South Bend. Go Irish!!! Anyway it's snowing here in Indy and I just had a job today of all things. But I do want to throw you a comment on the 580BTS. I bought mine from my local Husky dealer last year and it has an insane amount of power and it actually sits well on the back too. Does take awhile to get used to the huge blower tube but it's what it is. My dealer recommended using "Ethanol Shield" in all my small stuff due to the ethanol eating everything. I have about 800 hours on the BTS and it's been the best blower hands down. Just figured I'd give you a user review since I one.

The handle on the 580 is right they are like that. Takes a bit of getting used to my old backpack is a Husky copy and has the same thing I often found myself holding it sideways though bit more comfortable. I have a BR700 now though and its a beast. From what I have heard the Redmax and Husky really drink while the Stihls sip fuel my 700 uses barely anything. Also might need to prime your gear a little more before starting and it will fire up much quicker. I do most of mine about 5-6 times and get it in 1-2 pulls even from stone cold. Great video ;D

lol... just had a similar arm fail. A customer and 2 of his neighbors were watching me mow last Saturday. Ya just know he was Like "check out my guy, he's awesome!". Ok, ready to fire up the rider and impress.😎 5 times... i start it, engage the blades and stall. "Prob just some bad fuel folks... ha ha". I then notice my right arm sitting in just a bit. Push it out, start it, engage blades and we're off! I swear, ONLY with onlookers😄

  • @stepside2839
    @stepside2839 6 лет назад

Umm, 86 or donate those jumper cables.
Get cables that remain flexible at low temperatures . .. heavier gauge.
Store them under back seat of truck.
    1. Always connect to positive of donor 1st, then connect to dead vehicle positive terminal.
    2. Then, connect negative cable to donor ‘neg’ terminal, then to dead vehicle [Not terminal] meaning ground to engine.
When disconnecting, remove ‘neg’ 1st from dead vehicle ground, then from donor vehicle terminal.
Then, remove ‘pos’ of dead vehicle terminal & last remove positive from donor vehicle terminal.
You Sir, are a “workaholic” I enjoy your videos & enthusiasm 👍👍

I have a jumper box I keep with me from harbor freight cost around $40. I pull all the batteries out of the mower and put them on a trickle charge over the winter. Love echo, have 1 that is close to 10yrs old. Have stihl to but they are harder starting.have Scag and exmark both great mowers. My Scag had 5,000 hours on it before engine went. Scag has better tech support.

when you have a dead battery, the best thing to do is leave it over night on a battery charger if you can (i know thats not always possible) reason being is that an alternator or stator in some of the smaller stuff isnt designed to fully charge a dead battery and if you do it one too many times it can cause early failure of those components. but hey shit happens you cant always wait overnight!

Red Max I tried to buy blow spring, dealer couldn't get one late June, I bought a Sundaiwa, $450 trimmer home owner to much.
Echo trimmer wouldn't start, think no spark, coil app. $60 wife insisted I buy new one.
Have a JD combination trimmer edger, no start bought new carb $40, hope not wasted money, disappointed it's made by Homelite. I credit ethonal gas with engine problem. Use Menards premix. Or premium Marathon . Stabil oil. My Echo hand blower works ok.
