I have it on 12” and it was worth every penny. When I play it, people stop talking and go what the f*ck is this? It was fabulous and just simply perfect !
It’s good, but the later remix by Mike Chapman for the compilation album “The Best Of Blondie” is a bit more satisfying as the solo drum breaks at the end are started off by the “big pain in the ass” verse, then to the ooo-ooos and off to the end. On this 1978 mashup, the DJ only had access to the long album version and the instrumental B side of the 12” single. He didn’t have the original tapes, extra drum and bass riffs, and Ms. Harry to add vocals. Still, it’s amazing what that guy did with only a razor blade and tape. Bravo, signore Thorpe!
Thanks so much for sharing this! The quality is excellent! I understand why you don't want to share it in lossless, but would you be willing to post a 320kbps mp3?
You are welcome. Unfortunately, 192Kbps is the best I'm ever going to post which is what the bit rate is within the video. This video was made just to prove that the track does in fact exist and for people to experience it. Cheers!
Absolutely 💯 amazing 👏 😍 🙌 👌
