U are right. Many players only knows triangle circle jutsu, ougi, knj, but lack of fundamentals. Storm connection is very different from other fighting games, u need to adjust how the variations and mechanics works, frame range, whiff punish and decision making with a split of seconds bcoz this is a fast phase game.
That Sarada player wasn't throwing random ultimates. He was using the fact that they're projectiles as a way to pressure you because they beat out most other projectiles and the guard damage they have. They put up a really good fight.
Yeah, berto I play as him in one of my teams and boro is fairy good, at first I thought he’d be more of a slower sluggish hard hitting character like kinshiki but he isn’t, he’s got quite good speed for he’s combos and movement plus I really like his 🔺+ ⭕️ Because it’s very misleading, because of the way the animation looks and acts ppl think the jutsu isn’t leathal because it looks like it’ll end super quickly but it stays around for a good few seconds and has very good knock back. I recommend that ppl try him out more.
Boro is actually my favorite Kara member (like Hidan’s my favorite Akatsuki member lol I guess I like the cultists) so I’m excited that no one is gonna play him haha

What fighting games cannot replicate from anime fighting is the way the fighters are clashing, deflecting each other's moves constantly. In a game, like this one, you are either being hit with a series of attacks, hit someone with a series of attacks, or block... there are never moments where you hit and the opponent defents with their kunai, then they try to hit you and you block it with your arm, and then try to attack back, and so forth and so on... Sekiro is the only game I can recall right now that does the mechanic where you and your opponent constantly deflect until one of you gets a hit in, and then that one gets badly hurt or dies.
Seems like it’s just a mix of spam support and jumping to u win holy shit this game looks kinda brain dead not that it took a lot of skill in the other ones but being able to be hit after u spam your support for the 18th time and get a whole combo off looks so bad it’s clear that who ever pics the most annoying supports win every game
This game is absolutely dumbed down, storm 4 was far more pokey and mixup heavy. Since the guard breaks more easily people have a hard time playing campy and the chakra recovery plus jutsus being stronger/safer than ever means people are going to spam more and not get punished for it.
@TheColdOnez Oh, is it? How many glitches have you found in Storm Connections that is caused by the recent changes? Because Storm 4 only had balance around the many glitches leader switching cuased.
