I'm a Tool fan lol Great to see you reacting to them. I think Jonah has some really great drumming. Maybe another Danny Carey in the making. LOL
I am both a Warning Army member AND a proud kickstarter supporter of FTF. They are young, talented, motivated, and have some really good ideas. Some of their music is more metal than the rock I love, but goodness, how can I not support them?!? There are quite a number of us who think that they have a lot of potential.
New, young, female-led rock bands. I am liking that there is looking to be a resurgence in the music I like. Rock is not the popular choice these days, but these new bands are making people pay attention once again. Thanks for coming to take a listen to FTF.

Yes, The Warning Army was my source for finding Freeze the Fall (Quinn picked up the guitar because of TW and taught herself all of Dany’s parts by watching videos). I quickly jumped on the chance to donate to their kickstarter to fund their Debut EP (out soon). First 2 singles are awesome & I can’t wait to hear more.

Absolutely agree with you about them being a good fit with The Warning, but they also like Spiritbox, I think Courtney would look after them!
For such a new young band their sound and production is very polished. And their home town is only a couple hours drive away from me so I hope to see them in many shows in the future.

Some of us TWA were a part of their kickstarter for the debut EP and this was the second release. GLITCH was the debut single. they shot 5 mv in 10 hrs in Dec in Canada in a barn and this is 1 of them.

Ten months ago Freeze The Fall posted seven videos from a live performance they had done. Two of those songs were covers, Evolve, from The Warning, and The Pretender from the Foo Fighters. The other five were originals, an earlier version of Daughters of Witches, One Left Standing, Masquerade, Insomnia, and 46. Evolve got my attention. The originals got me to subscribe.
Definitely a band worth keeping an eye and an ear on.

Freeze the Fall is vary talented and their music is excellent. They compare to The Warning a band that started very young and has grown to a headliner band they are amazing. Freeze the Fall has that potential their already on track to grow into a top tier rock band. I think they will go far an can't wait for more from them.

It appears that FTF got off the ground, or at least on RUclips quicker than TW.

I've seen some of FTF early live material. Quinn's voice a bit shaky.
But as time went on, her voice improved immensly.

Another new band - metal core - out of Victoria, BC, Canada I'm really into now is Lucid Karma. Their songs Alpha and Omega and Unbroken Stone are pretty great. The drummer is great, specially considering he is the other vocalist, after the growler. Seen them live a few times and they put on a really fun show.

I like the sound, it’s very powerful, also they are very young. Very impressive!
The music is great, they can keep that sound.
My problem with this type of bands is the lyrics, they are not relatable to many people. I think they should try to write about relatable subjects just like “The Warning”.
If they really like “The Warning” they should be paying more attention to their lyrics.
I compare them to Liliac, very dark and playing a role of bad kids, vampiry, dark and evil. I saw them in an interview and they were very shy and sweet, nothing like this video. So it does not seem “authentic”. But I understand that they are just starting, so they have a long way to go before they find their true identity.
There is a disturbing trend of recording separate instrumental and vocal tracks, editing them, then pretending to perform the song live. Young performers hear these pitch corrected vocals and think "That's what I have to sound like." One reason I love The Warning is that on stage they are live, not lip-synced and not preproduced. Mistakes and all. In this video, sure the drummer was blindfolded, but I could not tell if he was actually playing the music or if it was something he played before and recorded without a blindfold. The vocals were highly edited and pitch corrected. I have my questions about the guitar/bass playing too. It was a fun video but I really don't know what they sound like outside of post-processing. The song writing was good.

You cite The Warning, so what about the initial release of S!CK and HYCAD? Yeah live they’re amazing, so are FTF - don’t go badmouthing people who you know nothing about!
I saw them live at the Revelry in Kelowna BC Canada on the weekend and they absolutely killed it. Incredibly talented young group. FTF is bringing the cold front worldwide 🌐

@@DarrellW_UKHe wasn't bad-mouthing. He had some positive remarks, after all. It's not a crime the vocals were auto-tuned. He just wishes it wasn't so prevalent.
