Skylar, you will always be loved and will never be forgotten! I personally think of you often, sweet Angel.💜

This is an awful case. I remember it. Skyler's parents have been very visible over the years speaking about their daughter and this crime. Be careful who you place your trust in. Not everyone is a good human. If Rachel Shoaf hadn't finally felt remorse would the case have been solved? Sheila Eddy was without empathy, and she and Skyler had been friends since childhood. If anyone sends you signals that they don't want to hang out with you anymore RUN.

It gets worse. (If possible) Sheila appeared to be so upset during those months Skylar was missing? She would ask to sit in Skylar's room. She did more than once, and THEY ended up comforting HER. Evil is evil, no matter what the age but Sheila's family would notice her upset if she saw Skylar's parents or the police etc, yet suddenly after turn around and start smiling/laughing and she took boat trips having fun, she wasn't upset at all, and her family asked her more than once if she knew what had happened? Sheila would say no, of course not. Its also been said that Skylar caught Rachael and Sheila getting hot and heavy kissing during a sleepover, and that was the reason why they were freezing her out, then were convinced Skylar would tell that they were together. Skylar's poor poor parents, if you see them in interviews? Your heart breaks for them.

While I love Mr Ballen, the things you mentioned, IMO, are integral in showing just how depraved and evil Sheila truly is & I wish he’d mentioned even just a little
      of it.
I recently read that their whole reasoning for murdering precious Skylar was the sleepover incident when Sheila & Rachel had sex.
Idk… Skylar knew they’d been with girls before, why were they suddenly so afraid she’d gossip about that?! And who cares?! It wasn’t the 1960s or even the 90s when I was around their age. Although, I don’t think it would’ve been that big of a deal then, either.
I just wish Skylar had listened to her other friends who warned her that Sheila & Rachel were going to kill her.,, they certainly weren’t discreet about hiding their intent. 😔
Skylar trusted them, which just breaks my heart. For Dave & Mary, too. 😢💔

And especially during the school years, making new friends is a massive part of it. Always follow your gut instincts, and never feel bad for growing or falling apart with someone.

I remember how Skylars parents took up for them, told the cops to leave them alone. Shelia was coming over to their house, sitting in Skylars room--- just putting on a a big show. Rachel is just as guilty, after she was just mentally trying to run away from it until it literally drove her crazy she was definitely a follower of Sheila though. I think a couple of Skylars friends played a big part in Rachel loosing it. One said he would ask her almost everyday where Skylar was, what did they do to her. When Sheila got arrested on the way to the police station she was worried about her damn hair, wondering if it looked ok. I was like 😯😯 I know they were talked to by mental health professionals, there were results but it's been so long I don't remember exactly what was found.

    • @sanketshelke8667

I just read that Rachel was denied parole in 2023. Good. But it's Sheila that should definitely not be allowed to get out of prison. She should rot there until her last day on earth. I mean, I get that she was clearly a sociopath, but to so cruelly put out that tweet saying "we really did go on 3" and then smirking at her trial. Aaaahhh......I can't imagine how hard it must be for Skylar's parents to have their only child (as far as I know) ripped away from them by 2 people they really trusted, and why? Just because they did not like her anymore. And then have one of the killers not only show zero remorse or guilt, but to rub it in their faces by smiling about what she'd done. Evil has no age, I'm convinced. I mean their minds were so diabolical at the age of just 16!! Wtf is wrong with kids these days?!
