Yes it’s very safe they will only try to sell u stuff even me as Egyptian when I go to old Cairo they try to sell me stuff that’s it but you feel the authentic old buildings ❤ I live in new Cairo it’s very calm modern area and lastly welcome to Egypt ❤️
Egypt just needs some management and caring for its historical place and it will be a nice tourist destination but that chaos and randomness kills any kind of tourism promotion and advertising

I invite everyone to come to Egypt it’s very very cheep now as the currency went down it’s very safe only in old Cairo, pyramids and the museum arrange with tour guide from the hotel and arrange with him the price before your trip he can even take you by his car

When you cross the streets in cairo try to make an eye contact with the car driver so that you can be sure that he actually saw you
