It's not. The Chinese primary and secondary education has something like 1600 (yes, one thousand and six hundred) credit hour worth of classes on history and politics versus about 40~80 credit in US. If you want someone to understand how certain ideology and political system works, you have to understand how it comes to be, what was the condition that give birth to it, what are some of the past, present and potential future decisions will be made, what is the logic and motivation behind it. Actually, it is well known that the new Generation-IV reactor is much safer and more environmentally friendly than any gas or coal plant. China has spent decades of time and money on Generation-IV reactor research and even Generation-V research. They have achieved success not just through government control and pushing, but by educating the public about the new technology and its benefits. They hold seminars and exhibitions to introduce the safe use of nuclear technology. However, in the West, even educated engineers are still afraid of nuclear technology. Currently, China is the first country to operate a demonstration Generation-IV reactor (more than one power plant). These 27 (some reports say 34) new plants under construction are all with new tech. They also export small versions of nuclear plants to thire world.
Solar is always available, but the problem is energy storage. Unless we get more efficient battery tech, solar will always be sidelined over more reliable energy generation like nuclear and hydro
if you need it , build them! but not because china build it , so let's build it no matter we need it or not. just take care of your own issue, leave china alone.
And the country that is deploying waaaaaay more solar capacity than anyone else is .... also China. So if they are deploying many times as much solar every year than the US but are ALSO building a bunch of nuclear plants, why would the US think it can rely just on solar in the future.
Good point. That is the Chinese perspective too now. Without the competition/rivalry, China would not have built its own Space Station, its own GPS system, Energy tech, infrastructure, she simply had no choice but to push forward hard. It's an existential issue for China's ruling elite, modernise, compete or be soviet-unioned. Thanks US.
Actually, the Russians are currently the biggest exporter of nuclear power technology worldwide.. They export more nuclear plants than any one else today.. Russias Rosatom is so vital to the world that USA is not sanctioning it.. It still buys nuclear fuel from russia
In the US, nuclear power is much more expensive than natural gas for electricity generation. In China, generating electricity with natural gas is significantly more expensive than using nuclear power. The U.S. benefits from abundant, cheap natural gas supplies, making it self-sufficient and keeping costs low. However, China relies heavily on imported natural gas, which is very costly. This difference in resource availability and costs drives China to invest heavily in nuclear energy, while the U.S. has less incentive to do so. Therefore, it is difficult for the United States to compete with China in the nuclear energy sector. Without the incentive, competing for the sake of competition is unsustainable.
China has already produced a modular design nuclear reactor which can be used in rural areas of developing countries. The modular design makes it easier, safer and cheaper to use nuclear energy to supply electricity at a cheaper price than other form of green energy. China is far ahead in fusion nuclear reactor as she is already able to produce and maintain a temperature of a million degrees Celsius in more than 100 sec continuously. The usa has a big challenge in competing against China in nuclear technology.
Agree. Note also an International organization named SIX types of 4th-Gen nuclear reactors. China is building all 6 types to determine which one is best under different environments.

Currently, China is the first country to operate a demonstration Generation-IV reactor (more than one power plant). These 27 (some reports say 34) new plants under construction are all with new tech. They also export small versions of nuclear plants to thire world.
Why US always comparing them with China
so much addictive
America: The Chinese stole our nuclear technology🤣
America: The Chinese stole our FUTURE nuclear technology
Nothing complicated. Money! That's all.
Solar is always available, but the problem is energy storage. Unless we get more efficient battery tech, solar will always be sidelined over more reliable energy generation like nuclear and hydro
if you need it , build them! but not because china build it , so let's build it no matter we need it or not. just take care of your own issue, leave china alone.
kurzweil is right. once we can figure out how to harness the sun's energy it will replace all other forms mostly.
And the country that is deploying waaaaaay more solar capacity than anyone else is .... also China. So if they are deploying many times as much solar every year than the US but are ALSO building a bunch of nuclear plants, why would the US think it can rely just on solar in the future.
Excellent form China 👍👍👍
I blame Katherine Tai.
Can't she design a powerful tariff and force China to stop it all?
US don't need to look into China, US actually can learn from France almost half electric power is nuclear
America is frightening herself. What a pity. 😭😭😭
Well they arent idiots they know its better to be self reliant.
We’re not leading anymore, we’re following
This is a good news for US too , US lacking a opponent to push her futher after soviet collapsed
What? More banning & sanctions?
The US is still leading with no real competition in gender expertise
Why is seems like USA keep catching up with China? They beating us on just about everything😢. If we keep being reactive we already lost.
So ? If usa does it is fine
@@spacetimemalleable7718and they ALREADY have 2 of them built. One of them is even in commercial operation.
Stop them
Well, democracy in US is draining a lot of funds from private corporation.....for lobbying, political campaigns.....,but not national development.
Spend less in MIC. Use the trillion $ to improve the lives of US citizens.
what we need to change is the system!
the system itself is the root cause of the issue why we are here!
America's Energy Option: Giant hamster wheels connected to electric motors that generate electricity from 10 million illegal immigrants running on the hamster wheels 😂😆🤣
What are you talkin about? Illegal immigrants get credit card. They dont need to work. 😝
"the gooble box technology" from rick and Morty
So the USA has nuclear but not Australia
It also needs to power about 3-4 times the people.
How can we claim tariff from that?
Just build your county, dont compare with China. It is for your own people, not for the Chinese! Focus on your own backyard, don't go around to tell everyone else what to do!
We've got a new boss in town
We better stay on their good side!
Why?
FYI
After 2024 Nov US election
2025 March /April US will take developed naval powers to war
Humongous fleets
Extreme naval battles to China front door
Cycle of great wars is here once again!
It's bad luck but that's the world
& unfortunately culprit is UK & US

Since when did our sentiment affect political support?
China has been outpacing the USA in various aspects, including the economy, technology, infrastructure, and soon, the military. The blame lies with Americans who elect politicians more focused on self-interest than the welfare of the country. A once-great nation is now beginning to decline.
Scream overcapacity some more
We need to stay away from NUCLEAR FISSION, and focus on NUCLEAR FUSION. Then, once we've stabilized our nuclear fusion processes to produce free energy without nuclear waste... we need to fund COLD FUSION studies (like the R&D that Google is working on right now). Cold fusion is the future, and hot fusion is the present. Nuclear fission is the past (hot fission).
As a matter of fact, China is also ahead of Nuclear Fusion technology.
US have a lot of money to spend on wars but not on their economy 😂😂😂 they have a lot of money that even if they made a pen 🖊️ they call it one billion dollars 💵 😂😂😂😂
Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant full operation is expected to commence in 2027. Tianwan will be the world's largest nuclear power plant, with generation capacity exceeding 9,000 MWe and is the first instance of civilian nuclear cooperation between Russia and China.
Why are you heating up the already intensed situation? Must we always compare the US to China?
Bohoo US either Go Solar or be a footnote only.
China is outpacing USA by at least a decade in developing nuclear power , glad to know that .
Слава КПК 🇨🇳👍🇨🇳👍🇨🇳👍🇨🇳👍🇨🇳👍
Why doesn't matter in the first place? That's the main question people want to know.
time to look at the mirror, why keep looking left and right?
is U. S. A. and is not idiotic U. S. !!!
Money going missing in America.
India has 27 operational nuclear power plants😅
But another 22 are under-construction.
How much time it requires to catch uo with France 😢
