This isn't the only way to do it.
It's probably not the best way to do it.

Local electronics here in Dayton, OH, I keep a few rolls in my to-go back when I take equipment to be tested for compliance for TUV (European version of Underwriters Laboratory).
We test equipment for both noise transmission as well as noise rejection. I use this tape to find areas that have an RF gap and may need additional RF gaskets
I easily print TPU on my ender 3 pro but I have TWO updates that make it possible-
1. I have an all metal extruder with a custom modified guide to eliminate the normal gaps on the OUTPUT of the extruder gear to the bowden tube. I modified the end of the guide to conform closer to the rounded output gear so it is more "bird-mouth" shaped than just flat where you get gaps. I also think it is best to use the WHITE bowden tube as the inner diameter of the normal white teflon tube is larger than the blue capricorn.
2. I use an all metal "bi-metal" hot end temperature break because the normal heat break where the teflon goes down to the nozzle tend to clog more as the teflon gets burned/distorted on that style break. With the all metal /bi-metal heat break, you can get ones where the teflon tube stops up in the cooler side of the hot end.
Be careful, these cable glands don't like low winter temperatures...
The copper tape looks purpose made for J-Pole antennas on glass.

Great mailbag. I will be interested in hearing how your TPU experiment goes. I never tried to print TPU with my Ender V3. Like you I have heard mixed results.

I use that copper tape often when i bake a contact off a board.
Several sizes always in stock. Makes a nightmare a fixable problem.

Absolutely, it can serve as a bodge wire when a trace on a board is damaged.

If you desperately need copper tape, and can't wait for one of the usual Chinese suspects to deliver, you can find it at your local garden centre. Look for slug barrier tape, no idea what the price differential is.

Would be interested in a quick desolder of one of the pd boards to take a look at the hidden chips.
Likely just a network of resistors but I like being proven wrong on my guesses.
@@markfergerson2145- the cheap ones use an unmarked MCU. Unlike QC, you cannot do PD voltages with resistors alone.

Interesting assortment. You may want to investigate what retraction and temperatures are best to start for the TPU. I have not used it ( yet ), and have seen reviews that recommend using a dryer prior to use in spite of being in a sealed container.
You probably need a direct drive with TPU.
That is the conventional wisdom
I have a modified ender 3 v2 (firmware, bed level sensor, bed springs, few extras that are one of one), and it has 0 issues printing 95A TPU from geeetech even on the stock extruder and Bowden tube. you should have 0 issues printing it, just slow the print speed down slightly

Good morning, I use TPU often but I use it on direct drive extruders. As you mentioned, it does in fact get boogered up in boden tubes. Yes there are various Shore densities from 60A-100A for 3D printing, I tend to use the 95A. Although the shore factor does matter for 3D printers, most do not recommend anything softer than 85A, it's just too difficult to deal with. It is also recommended to use direct feed as opposed to boden tube printers, but I do know a few who have had success with 95A in tube printers. it remains nice and flexible after printing. Oddly enough, Shore 95A is also what is used for grocery cart trolly wheels as well as some marine applications. It's interesting to learn the Shore scale to see Shore 00, A and D. Fun stuff .
Yup yup ... without direct drive, printing soft stuff is nigh impossible.
@@GnuReligion I disagree- I have a lightly modded Ender 3 that still uses the bowden and TPU works perfectly. I have a comment here where I detail how I do it. I understand how a lot of people think direct drive extruders are better, HOWEVER I believe they actually slow print speeds and reduce print quality. It does so by adding SO MUCH weight on the part of the printer that is being moved around where as there are benefits from that being as LIGHT as possible.

Regarding tpu. If your printbed has a PEI surface. Put down a layer of glue stick. Not for adhesion, but to be able to get the print off again.
I use the stock glass bed with gluestick normally. It helpes with preventing PETG from tearing the bed apart.

They aren't power modules, they are PD Triggers. You can wire power supplies in series providing that they have fully floating outputs. Many mains powered PSUs have a negative rail linked back to mains neutral, so cannot be run in series.

It seems your tubing üays off well enough... how else could you afford the most sophisticaed pointing device? I love that point finger. But I#m also a big fan of endoparasites... as long they dwell somewhere else but my body... (>_
