@@hitless6298 Probably shouldn't accuse someone of that if you don't know for sure. There's tons of cameras and mics and if that did happen there's proof out there. If someone did throw a racial slur they need to be punished. But remember, these are kids and that's not something to take lightly but a young man's life shouldn't be ruined over that. There should be room for grace and learning at such a young age.

The horn brings energy. It’s playoff baseball. If it’s not illegal to use then why not use it to your advantage. Screaming and yelling will get you so far. Take a trip to sulphur state tournament next year, You will understand why. Every team has one goal in mind, win a damn state championship.

it will definitely happen. Next season team will have more experience and honestly they can probably feel number 13 heading into their trophy case already. this team exceeded expectations that no one would have every thought off. Many people thought Sam Houston was gonna be the one to dethrone the powerhouse this season but 15-1 in district play, district champion, number one seed in non select division 1, runner up state champion.

It’s playoff baseball. You wanna do anything to mess up the other team. Being on the screen it might seem annoying but being in the crowd it’s a whole different story. Both teams are competing for one thing which is a state title.

It’s neutral. Technically mcneese state field is close enough to barbe to be consider a home game for them but with a 3 game series. The host is the home team of game 1 then the away team is the home team in game 2 and if needed game 3 home team is the host.

But he was definitely someone you never expect to do something like this. He’s fortunate enough that his scholarship wasn’t taken from him and that he was given a second chance to play d1 ball.

The only difference is Barbe is a national powerhouse. Iowa is one of the Louisiana powerhouse. Iowa is always good team making it to sulphur. Sadly though up until last year they could never get the job done.

I hope when you mean a few years back I hope you mean 2007. last time they won was 2007. if you are trying to make a statement that they did make it to the state championship game a while back then you are correct but the only two championships they have were 2007 and 2023. Very young squad who exceeded expectations. I think they had two senior who started and the rest were freshman and sophomore beside the catcher being a junior. Not many people thought they would be the number seed in non select division 1.
