But *subectively*, created in part by fashion (and also a desire to force us to go to cinemas and not rely on the telly at home), there is absolutely a “correct” way, and it’s landscape. For video, that is. For still work, then do what works, and so yes, tall slim subjects are usually better done in portrait for stills.

SpazZRatic for real
I am awestruck that you got that close! We have a few on our property too! Sometimes they're banging away, other times they are munching from our bird feeder. We have the same breed of woodpecker and the color of its head is fantastic! I'm usually looking at ours thru binoculars! lol
So the Woodpecker got three types of attacks:
Heavy Attack - *Precision Strike*
Special Attack - *Jackhammer Drill*
Light Attack - *Evasive Scratch*

Terrance G since when did pokemon have heavy special and light attacks? Are you talking about Smash Bros or fighting games instead?
@@justadummy8076 It could be both but I chose Pokemon because they have variety of attacks to use. As for the Heavy, Light, and Special attacks, I agree with you on the fighting games. 😎
Notice the moment he looks at the cameraman?
He was like: dude, give a hand, she's coming home soon.
I don’t think he was lookin at the camera man I think he was just checking how’s his work progress is

Amen, I seen one recently and I was in awe at how big it was; I felt that God let me see one in person as I'm trying to identify bird's species where I now live.
from what I've heard these woodpeckers (species) are super hard to photoshoot because they fly away the second they notice you. this person is super lucky
Yea Pileated Woodys are very schizophrenic

It's not as rare you think because where I'm living I seen woodpeckers being that low to the ground walking near by them without them flying off and there was times that I was inches away from squirrels many times when walking to the stores.
The fact that you filmed this woodpecker for 22 minutes without doing anything else is actually the amazing part of this video
I don’t have the patience to do that

The way he’s chipping specific places and to make the opening wider is impressive
Birds know how to make complex knots for their nests that even I don't know how to make.
Jason Phan probably because you don’t build nests to live in

I'll have you all know that I have built pllllenty of nests I lived and smashed in.........

Damn! The strength and the sharpness of the beak! Amazing video. Thank you!
Right. Now if I could fit him in my pocket I wouldn't have to carry a knife. But California would find a way to make him illegal like straws so best I don't find a way to fit him in my pocket.
Yeah. The power and toughness of his head and neck is incredible. Just bam and bam, he is smashing the wood.
It's like a proper chisel.

I find this bird to be a source of motivation for hard working, staying focus and result orienting. Incredible footage.. excellent!
Amazing!!! Not even human distraction kept it from staying focused while pecking. Outstanding video footage!
Imagine these birds were ferocious and attacked humans. It’ll be really horrible. Those beaks would wreak some havoc on skin.
