I see that you chose the flood beam pattern, doesn’t it blind you during night time since the light beam bounces off your hood or am I wrong? My friends told me to get a spotlight beam pattern…
Yes the hood does interfere a little with my mount height but it’s not terrible. The spot light would be best to avoid that reflection
Seems not possible to control with aux switch. If you've multiple pair of Halo light on the dashboard you've several Halo switch?
You can control everything if it’s an on and off function

So you didn't end up going through your Auxbeam panel?
not with these lights, I will with My LED light bar but since there’s so many switches on the halos, I kept it on its own switch

I really wouldn’t worry about thieves stealing lights. That is not a common issue
I wanted to ask the same thing. I am interested in getting the halo pods now however where do you find the mounts to fit my Silverado?
I bought mine off Amazon, you can search for your specific year. Real Truck or Amazon should sell the mounts for you.

I can’t find what the optics on any of these lights look like. Yours has a certain design on the lens. My Diode Dynamics are similar. But everything I see on their website has a clear lens as if they were all spotlights. are you able to clarify on what the lenses look like? Not the covers, the actual lens.
yes, so I have the flood option, but I believe they do do have a spot option. Does that help? I can so make a short for you ?
I found another video and it looks like yours are the flood and the combo lens has the optics on the actual lens from the middle of the lens down. If that makes any sense.

So I bought the 6 inch combos today. They come in a few days. I bought the spot/flood. I am under the impression that’s what your light is. They really need to advertise that part of the light. Not the end of the world, but most people also go off aesthetics as well. A clear lens versus a different lens could be the difference of a purchase,… or returning the light. Hopefully I receive the proper and correct lights.
